I'd go with B.
Pull ups internally rotate the humerus, not externally.
Edit: I'd still go with B, just make sure to do a lot of external rotation work volume with the rows and warmups (band pullaparts, etc.)
So what if i subbed out one of my rows for pullups and did pullaparts/facepulls instead between each set of bench/press?
Or
Would 5 sets on rows be enough?
Look up DeFranco's triple threats. Non-taxing. Effective.
I like the idea of the antagonist training, do the pull ups on OHP day and hit something like BB rows or facepulls in between your sets of bench press instead of pull ups.
Paul Carter wrote an article about it on T-Nation recently, I'll try to dig up the article unless someone beats me to it.
Outside of that, keeping what you have and just doing Band Pullaparts for a bunch of reps before your bench and OHP should do the trick and keep the shoulders happy during the sets.
I like B over A as well. They both look pretty good, I just feel like B looks more well rounded is all.
Some of the stuff can switch out. One cool thing I learned from RTS templates is like if you can't decide between squat supplement a and squat supplement b just do them every other. Keeps things interesting too.
Just food for thought
Looks pretty damn good and thought out to me. One thing about the DB or BB row is if it is supersetted with DB bench I personally would love to just drop the Dbs and start rowing off the bench. Just a personal preference of mine.
I like to alternate assistance work to keep things fresh, so with that in mind I say why not use both? (On different weeks of course)
Duffin is great. The amount and quality of the free information gives to the lifting community is unsurpassed imo
Any suggestions to add some external rotation volume to layout b that wont hurt recovery or time? Maybe one day sub out pullups for facepulls or something?
Where have u been getting your information on your setups for your days a book or have u just been doing based on experience?
No I'm good thank it just appears that u have a very good handle on programing and I was just trying to learn form a person I perceive to be a pro is all
I have pendlay do wins, love them. Not an overly aggressive heel and built for the fat footed.
How did you size em?
Same as my tennis shoes, it turns out. They fit fine.
My power lite trs are 10.5 and i wear an 11 to walk around in bc its a little looser. So im hoping a 10.5 in these works just fine. Thanks.
Thanks to all you raw dogs i just oreded two compression cuffs for my elbows and two hammy bands. Gear whore at heart.
I need to invest in some hammy bands. I love my cuffs.
I vote conventional! Build up that lower back for stability in squats and sumo pulls.
Ooo yes yes
I noticed we both picked our comp stance Lolol.

Good idea on the front squats. After 2 months of SSB box squatting, my free squat groove went to absolute crap.
I vote sumo.
Wide Stance Suspended GMIf i go sumo, and i struggle right off the floor what assistance would be best for that?
Wide Stance Suspended GM
Pullthroughs
Those have given you good carry over? So these will build the glutes/hips? What kinda rep scheme on the gms?
3-5 usually
I'm not quite competition stance wide, but I try to setup as close as possible and, yes, for the glutes and hips.
