I'm gonna do it. Had life hit me hard this last week and a half so I'm just trying to get what I need to at this point. Once things slow down I set it up.

He replied, just said to keep him in the loop to make a plan. Even tho I laid it all out. So idk what he means by that honestly.

Thanks dude! I'm not a big bencher, groove feels weird to me. I've done 405 comp grip paused off a two board before. Not much carryover tho back then.

I agree 100%. Dude obviously has way more experience than me, but me as a lifter I'm like you man, I would want to be feeling as good as I can about the squat bench and deadlift because at that point I'm not getting stronger leading into the meet. I look at that movement as a strength builder.
Like I said I don't know the full parameters and am in no way saying I know more than him. I want to be super clear on that lol

Me and you are on the same page. I'd personally just be comp squatting at this point dialing it in, feeling comfortable and mentally confident in the lift.
He programmed Steve Johnson into BoB and he prd all 3 lifts if i remember correctly. I know you're a different guy, but im sure he doesnt change up the program peak too drastically from client to client.
However, i do agree that it is unconventional. He knows you're 4 weeks out right?
Well I think if you mentally needed to hit a more serious weight on your comp squat since you missed out on it the other day, taking that 440 wasn't a bad thing. I mean now you have the confidence under bigger loads to go forward with whatever Josh wants knowing it's gonna be there now.
If you didn't believe in it, you would have second guessed it come comp. Now, you can trust the program.

Is it just me or did your pull-ups and seated ohp blow the hell up last few weeks??
I wouldn't say blow up, Josh has made small and gradual increases over the 12 weeks. It seems to have payed off. I really enjoy he progression style.
I just recall you struggling with a few sets of 4 on pull-ups
Side note: been using a pre wo with amp citrate in it, well I hate that stim it turns out and it hurts me more then helps me, so training under heat and ****ty stims, I am expecting some good carryover come meet day
Dude I can't handle any stim other than caffeine anymore. I tried dabbling into other stimmed products against but I just can't handle it. Jitters and anxiety don't mix well with heavy stuff on your back. I'd prefer to just up the caffeine content.

Also, I am not a huge amp citrate or 1,3 fan. I do like small amounts of yohimbe and roughly 300mgs of caffeine. I don't know how kids these days need 600mgs of caffeine and 7 other stimulants to get up for an arm session. I guess I'm just an old man lol
What about ephedra?
Surprisingly doesn't have any ill effects on me. Didn't think of it just because I haven't been taking it in a while. I even crunch it with my teeth when I take it. But all the others stims just make me feel cruddy.
Ephedrine is great. Ephedra is the useless monk tea leaves they sell in otc supps still to people who don't know it yet, but it doesn't do jack.
1,3 is epic, but is the only stim I truly notice a crash on (plus destroys erectile function for most of the day) so it's mainly a rare treat and pulling at comp.
Amp citrate makes me sweat like a whore in church and will definitely destroy you in the heat. Wish I had thought to ask you about what you were taking.
