It certainly depends on the extent and cause of your burnout. If you mean being under garden variety stress, without much biological underpinning (ie real issues that need medical attention....) then I'll be glad to start the list of things you may find helpful.... I am assuming you are eating ok, taking a good multi-vite and not doing drugs, drinking excessively, etc.
Cortisol/Stress: 7-OXO transdermal, 7-OH (brand names Lean Extreme)
Basic Nootropics: ALCAR, L-Theanine, L-Tyrosine, Choline, Creatine Monohydrate
Misc Mood elevators -- Taurine, Inositol, Jujube
"Smart Drugs": Hydergine, Piracetam and other 'cetams, Deprenyl, Lucidril.
Adaptogens: Rhodiola, Reishi, Mumie, Shilajit, Eleuthrococcus (ginseng), Phenibut in moderation (2x a week, or daily for 2 weeks or less)
Greens Drinks: Good basic formulas such as Pure Synergy from Invalid Link Removed have great greens plus some of the above adaptogens in one drink - worth every penny.
Nightime Sleep Aid: REM3rG from USP Labs, Melatonin in small doses (1mg sublingual)
Get a blood test to make sure your test levels, thyroid and other hormones and blood are ok, just to be sure before spending alot on supplements.
That should get us started.
A good basic and relatively inexpensive stack to start with could be:
2-3 caps Designer Supps Lean Extreme a day, 2 grams l-tyrosine, 2x a day, 1g ALCAR 2x a day, 2 gram Choline. If you can take it in moderation, MRM's Relax All supplement is a nice blend of cal/mag, theanine, jujube and a bit of phenibut. great for 1-2x a week!
Cut out the ephedrine, and other stims - suffer thru it for 2 weeks, and enjoy real energy in the long run.
There's more, but I need to run.... Should be agood thread.
Hope that helps,
A
