Supplments in Shenzhen China

I was planning a trip to Shenzhen(close to hong Kong) in the special economic zone. Technically it is still mainland china.

Would there be any problems bringing american supplements over there in my bag. Something tame like UHot or Restore not necessarily pro hormones. I do know people bring there own prescription medication over there. I'm sure its not much of a problem in Hong Kong but wondering about shenzhen.

as long as it's nothing to interesting, i was wondering when I travel to canada, just keep a bottle with you so you can show them it's not x.
