I know we have all been seeing ashwagandha tongkat ali and a few others, saying they boost test improve mood and so much more, but do they work and if so what results have you seen and at what doses?

I would NOT recommend buying supplements in any form off of tik tok!!

but yes if you buy them from reputable sources, they are very good supps. there are several modern supps that kick ass.

If you want top quality stuff that actually delivers results look into www.apex-alchemy.com

Ashwagandha and Tongkat Ali have been popular ingredients for years.

There may be brands and people that promote them on Tik Tok, but as with most everything on Tik Tok, its important to remember that its basically just paid advertisements and endorsements for particular brands.

As to whether they work, there are some very effective forms of Ashwagandha and Tongkat Ali, but it depends on which type of them that you use and if they brand is reputable and really providing you with what the label says.

With herbs in general, its important to remember that most of the time its not the herb that delivers the results, its the active constituents in the herb that deliver the results. So therefore, the herb itself is only as good as the form or extract.

Ashwagandha:
If you are looking for an Ashwagandha to help increase testosterone levels, then the answer is the branded form of Ashwagandha KSM-66 because they have the clinical studies backing them showing increases in testosterone levels.

There are some other good types of Ashwagandha for other purposes - like Sensoril for anxiety or Shoden for sleep. But KSM-66 is the most clinically researched form for increasing natural testosterone levels.

Here is a link to a KSM-66 product and the write-up provides a lot of great information on KSM-66:

Here is a link to M-Test, a very popular natural testosterone booster that has been a favorite of many here on AM for years and has a lot of great feedback on it and it contains both KSM-66 and Tongkat Ali:

An important note on Ashwagandha:
If you want to use Ashwagandha for any reason, do not buy generic forms - go with a branded ingredient type. Even the Indian government (where a lot of Ashwagandha is harvested) issued a warning about buying generic Ashwagandha because it may incorporate the leaves and be unstandardized which could lead to safety concerns.

Tongkat Ali:

I could type out a ton of information on this subject and break down all the different forms and concentrations, but there is a lot of good information about it in these links that explain the differences and what active constituents are really providing the testosterone boosting benefits.

Don't let total dosages fool you bc you can get more active constituent in 300 mg. of a great quality extract than you could in 10 grams of actual non-standardized herb.

I get bloods done every 2 weeks when on cycle and after.
I have never ran across anything over the counter that legit raises test levels to a degree worth purchasing aside from D-Aspartic Acid.

Other then that, test is good for test. :)

DAA does not raise test.
there is good reason you don't see it around anymore.

Then it must of been just my body restoring its self as it does after cycle in its sluggish attempt.
Personally I think 99% of over the counter stuff is worthless. All the stuff that DOES work that hits the shelfs is usually banned after some short time.

I wouldn't discredit it as I used it after pct and other times did not use it at all. But would be small minded to think we know exactly how our HPTA is going to respond through out the course of our life given our own body chemistry.

I've tried all the TikTok supplements... the Tide Pods, the NyQuil Chicken, the Benadryl challenge, etc etc... never got results.

I wouldn't discredit D-Aspartic Acid either.

What happened was that when DAA came out, it was overhyped to a level that it nor most things could ever live up too and then the backlash because of that went out of proportion in the other direction, as is common with a lot of ingredients that are initially overhyped like it was.

The reality with DAA is that it is just a supplement that works better for some people than others; and while some people will argue until the end of time whether it actually increases test levels or not, the honest answer is that it likely depends on the individual. But also, for the average person looking for a natural testosterone booster, what they're really looking for is something that helps them feel better, improve mood, increase libido, etc. - and DAA does do that for some people.

For me, I think that M-Test, Cloma-Plex, and Optimize-T are all far better actual natural testosterone boosters and contain many clinically researched ingredients to confirm that, but if someone likes the way that DAA makes them feel and wants to add it on top of them, its a very inexpensive add on.
