Is there anything new in this category? As I am getting older I notice my nails are getting thicker and brittle. Any got any experience?

take a look at toco-9 from iconic formulations.

I know biotin can strengthen nails but not sure if it will help you.

The first thing is making sure a person gets in enough protein (you probably do; but specifying that for anyone reading that may not).

Biotin is an excellent option for this along with a good quality B-Complex. NOW Foods is a good choice for both.

Some people also say they experience good results with adding Collagen in for this.

It would probably not be in line with people that buy your products, but would be nice if you had a supplement for that. I know it's a niche product probably wouldn't sell well.

Actually we do have a hair skin and nails product in development under the Health Series side of things. Plus, I'm involved with a product working on something like that with another company as well that will be a really cool product.

I thought about doing a Collagen product also but right now the raw material production prices are really high on Collagen. But definitely something we would consider in the future.

@chainsaw
did you take a look at TOCO-9?

most of the reviews are about hair but what seems good for hair also seems to be good for nails and vice versa.

I have heard about it before but never tried, but with nails it takes so long to see results, maybe 3 months, so hopefully stock up on black Friday for an experiment

Awesome, you come up with everything. Would be interested in a hair skin and nail product that isn't just a run of the mill

That's what we've been working on. Something that covers all the bases but isn't basic. A lot of the hair, skin, and nails formulas on the market are really just the same thing with an ingredient or dosage change or two - and I get it to a certain degree bc in general bc most of them are competing for the same low price point. Or they're very expensive for what they are because the company is having to build in a large markup to fund a lot of marketing.

I really like and enjoy a lot of the general health type products and formulas but don't get the chance to discuss them much on here because most people here don't seem very interested in them. I love the sports stuff but I also love products that can help people improve their day to day quality of life. That statement may seem a little odd to apply to a hair, skin, and nails supplement at first glance - but there are a lot of people that their self esteem is dramatically negatively impacted by having issues with or being self conscious about these things.

same with hair, but if you read the reviews there are those who are having pretty good results...btw-you have to be a verified purchaser to post a review at iconic formulations so no phony reviews like some places we have all heard about.:)

@sns8778 Is this product still in the works? Wife just asked me about this kind of product. I see PES has Renuvia and Collagen. I'd like to give SNS more business. I trust PES too and probably would go with them in the meantime.

Thank you. Yes, we do. We have a very cool comprehensive product coming out for this within the next few months hopefully.

We're also looking into some more cool ideas in this category as well.

As well as moisturising externally, you also need to retain moisture internally. Your hands and nails should have less exposure to water and abrasives. Wear gloves when doing the dishes and use hand protection when doing the cleaning. A lot depends on your genetic make-up. I've been watching Invalid Link Removed seminars and I recently started cosmetology studies and they told me that nails deteriorate a lot over time. So you have to lubricate them with special oils. Try a manicure to remove cuticles

@sns8778 Did the hair/nails/skin product get released yet, or still in the works?

Still in the works. The formula is done, and should be released this year; hopefully by summertime.

There's a lot involved with this project, it isn't just releasing a product, there's more to it than that - and in a good way, bc I think it will be really cool. Just taking more time and planning.
