Super Mandro+Andro the Giant (8 week cycle) FULL log!!!

PR with CLEANS and workout afterwards was intense as usual. Wrists starting to hurt a bit as I move up in weights with power lifts. Started taping them.

After gym session today I was weighing at: 135.2

Not tripping. You could lose 20 pounds of fat and gain 20 pounds of muscles. The scale is not an accurate way of measuring success and your progression in the gym.
Especially when you're hitting PRs after PRs. I remember my coach asked me years ago, if I'm hitting PRs and my run time is getting better...then why do you care if you're losing weight or not?

Also, keep in mind that I don't drink my shakes on Saturday (JiuJitsu) and Sundays (yoga/meditation). Plus, I ate like garbage for the SuperBowl heheh

Random Question: Do you guys have deep epiphanies while you're REALLY into a workout or right after? It's like you're thinking on some OTHER level.

I truly believe that's what keeps us from coming back. After all the PRs and "gains" you get this mental clarity and you don't care anymore. You just go through the motions and grind because it's the RIGHT thing to do.

TOTALLY not the right forum cause now I'm getting on to some Eastern philosophy stuff haha.
 
WITHIN the past 36hours:
-Heavy Front Squats (PR)
-At least: 30 Hand stand push ups//35 One-Legged Squats (each side)//100 Strict pull ups (alt. grips) *Not sure if PR, lost count*
-Ran 5K= 24:15 Beat my last time by 30 seconds
-8 Hours of good sleep
-Heavy Deadlifts (PR)
-Weighing in at 136 after all that with bathroom break

I am SPENT but ready for some more! Stronger and stronger everyday.
Aggression through the roof and it helps me with my lifts...as long as I don't lose my sh*t at work.

My recovery time I've realized is EXTREMELY fast.
Nutrition is not the best right meow.
Hydration is good and will be better as I'm keeping count with how many bottles I'm drinking.
Sleep though! That LeCheek HGH with extra magnesium for sleep and recovery is KEY.
Besides that, I can also give credit to my PH Cycle for my rapid recovery!

Thinking about going back to cold showers (a LOT of benefits) with this cycle.
MAYBE...haha
 
Yesterday:
-Never had SO many French fries and slim jims EVER and that's pretty much all I ate yesterday plus pop-corn as well.
-Only about 6 hours of sleep, not the best

Week 3 with this workout program:
-PRs with CLEANS it felt light
-Smashed my workout afterwards as well:
In 20 minutes: 98 straight pull-ups (w/ alt. grips)//190 diamond push-ups//285 air squats

I've read from another forum, someone said how week two is the toughest week in their workout program. It was Wendler's 5/3/1 (what I used to do)
Does anyone else feel the same? Week 2 for this program that I'm on is killer and so was for Wendler's

Also, after a few bathroom breaks and my workout this morning, I'm weighing in at 138lbs

Like, I don't snack...I binge. I don't just fap and continue with my day, I binge. Drinking? Socially? Sure, if you have a vagina. When I drink...I DRINK.

When I come home form my deployment, I'm going to continue staying away from alcohol. That sh*t kills me man...plus, skipping out on Jiujitsu at night, ordering a bunch of crap food and then I'm hung over in the morning and don't lift. Vicious cycle haha

Now that I look back at it...it was all after my recent break ups lol

3rd Week of my STRENGTH cycle and I'm a little behind.
Got DEALIFTS left and then DELOAD for a week.
Going to be focusing on form and I will still be doing regular workouts.
Example: Squats (with JUST the Bar) then workout

Got about 2 more weeks left for this PH cycle!

After this week (deload) I will be going for my PRs in ALL lifts the following week.
Then I will compare the differences for you guys!

Stand by.

Side note: Mesomorph is not only good for being a f*ckin animal at the gym but...my jiu-jitsu game is ON POINT. It's scary.

At the start of your thread you said that a rant you have is when people leave a log incomplete, I was trolling that you should have done before/after pics of your progress. I think it's really effective way to gage results... I'm just ****ing around though, wasn't trying to be a dick lol

OHHH..okay haha nah, you're good. How many posts you need prior to posting pics? I barely see any results in the mirror, my veins are poppin out a bit on my forarms but nothing crazy.

Thinking about consolidating all of my posts here and adding this to my blog, with pictures of course.

You have NO idea how many times I've said that on this cycle hahaahha...spent over $600 on this cycle, only because I have some deployment money to play with.

But whenever I think like that, I stop and remind myself that I'm Asian and I don't have much to spare down there haha

I've upped my multivitamin intake for this week.
Used to take Triad 3x/per day. Now it's 6x (full dose).
I seriously need to lock my phone up before bed...I love memes and trolling on

looks like some pretty solid gains as far as strength. Would have hoped for more weight gain at this point but time will tell... looking good man

Always do your best! Understand that your best may not be "enough" to hit your goal.
It might not be enough for your co-workers, girlfriend or even team.
But you know what? As long as you gave it your ALL and you KNOW you left it all at gym and on the mats...who gives a f*ck?!

Seriously.

Went to the dining facility and grabbed 3 steaks, 4 pieces of ham and a LOT of cucumbers, carrots and peppers.
About to feast.

Thanks for asking! Recovery's going well. No gyno at all and still crushing the weights.

Work shift got shorter so I started training Muay Thai and BJJ more. Losing a bit of weight because of that but the numbers in the gym are still going up!
 
That's awesome! Glad to hear it...I'm up 4 pounds in a week and a half, doing some progress photos tomorrow... In the gym my joints may be holding me back so I'm dosing pure glucosamine at 3 grams a day along with an OTC multi ingredient joint sup...they don't lie when they say this **** dries em out. I may have to back off calories a bit to prevent fat gain. 3,250 seemed good, 3,500 may be too much excess.
