Super Cissus RX and glucosamine supps

I just got my first bottle of SuperCissus RX today. For a month now I have been taking a suplement called Move Free by Schiff. It contains glucosamine, condroitin, uniflex and joint fluid.

My question is should I keep taking the supplement along with the cissus or is the cissus enough. I have elbow joint problems along with some chronic shoulder problems. i.e rotater cuff and pain from an old dislocation.

Welcome to the forum bro!

I'd be eager to hear what USP's reps have to say on this matter, I have moved my glucosamine supplement to the nighttime when I take my zma and take cissus during the day. Not sure what method is best; but I don't believe that they conflict with each other.

First and foremost, How long ago was the dislocation and have you had the Rotator Cuff assessed by a specialist?
Cissus and other joint aids are great together and do help with recovery and prevention of injuries. They are not miracle pills however. You still need adequate rest from injuries before hitting the joints hard again but to answer the question, Yes Cissus can be a good addition to all joint aid products and does work very well indeed. :)

I dislocated my left shoulder around 15 years ago and never really rehabed it correctly. I've stayed away from overhead presses ever since. About a month ago I started feeling pain and an unstable feeling in the shoulder so I stopped working out.

My right rotater cuff is bad from years of throwing a softball, and not properly warming up when I was younger.

I don't bodybuild or powerlift, but I work out 3-4 times a week with cardio thrown in. Although in the last 6 months I did push a little harder to add a little size and stregth. I try to keep in shape to enjoy the recreational sports I play. I play a lot of softball and racquetball once a week. I get a round or two of golf in a month.

I just started doing rehab type exercises for my shoulders that I should have done years ago.

I would suggest to continue taking the schiff product, but I am not a rep. triflex and supercissus are staples for me, and I noticed the combo has worked great for me.

As Mickfootie stated, you can use other aids such as glucosamine, MSM and chondroitin while using SuperCissus Rx as there are no interactions.

If you intend to add Glucosamin and Chrondoitin, prefer the sulfated forms for superior bioactivity. The sulfated forms are more effective for the incorporation of sulfur into the cartilage. MSM is already a sulfated compound.

From what I've read above then, I can also take my super cissus w/ my latest Rx - Mobic?? Dr. just put me on it for what he thinks is bicepital tendonitis.. Hurts like crazy!

I have had 3 shoulder operations as a result of approx. 24 shoulder dislocations. Have used a variety of joint supps and the combination of Cissus with Glucosamine (et. al) is a good help. I stress help, it is not a wonder drug however

You would want to consult your physician or pharmacist for this one...

Thanks bud!
