I went to KnowFat after the gym yesterday which sells some bodybuilding products. I noticed they also sold sustevol and the other two ph's in the line along with a couple other names I didn't notice. I talked to the guy and he was pushing sustevol on me like I knew nothing, when in reality he knew nothing. He barely knew anything about any of the products he was selling, and suggested 6-oxo as an adequete PCT for sustevol. He didn't even mention anything about liver support for it. I told him how bad it was for you but he persisted in saying "people have been coming in here telling me they are getting great gains." I was really disappointed by this show of ignorance and just thought I should share.
 
i dont post here much, however same situation with my local shop. Makes me laugh kind of, but hey what are you going to do. There is a guy I know who has run sustaval for 4 weesk, then novadex (ATD) for 3, back to the sustevol for 4 weeks, and now he is back on the ATD, supposedly he will be going anoth 4 weeks on sustevol in about a week or two. I couldnt make this stuff up...... His cholestrol must be f*cked. I am no better since I did buy a bottle of tetanate50 the pther day, but will not use it for some time if ever. Hey at least it has one less methylated substance.......
 
Just goes to show...a little bit of knowledge is dangerous.

Just imagine grantr, how many people like that guy are out there selling this stuff to every kid that comes in the store.
 
I know man, its sickening. At least know something about your product. I can just imagine kids buying that **** out on a whim one day and then ending up with some major health issues. Thanks for the response
 
These are the reasons the Gov't will say that they had to ban everything that works. I am sure we all have stories of people at GNC and other vitamin shops giving great advise that would really hurt someone. Gnc will sell you what cost the most and pays them the most regardless of if you need it. I cannot tell you how many times I have looked a person in the face and said " Did you just say I should take this how? Why?" and they could not give me a answer other than everyone says it's great. I just want to choke the Sh*t out of them. Sorry for the rant.
 
Hey Guys, way new here to this stuff and actually found this thread doing a google search on Sustevol.

From what I read, it almost seems borderline steroid-ish. Can someone take a little time to explain what may be so bad about taking this for a couple of cycles? Hate to be such the newb, but sometimes I need things drawn out in front of me to understand it.

I appreciate any input. My local nutrition store was pushing this on me the other day as well.

I wouldn't buy anything until reading these boards for a while. When I considered doing prohormones, I read all the information I could and these boards for a long time gathering as much information as I could. If you are going to do prohormones I would suggest not doing sustevol. It is so bad because it is a combination of three methylated PH's. All three have undesireable sides (just like any PH) and since are methylated, are harsh on the liver. And these stores probably don't even sell an adequate PCT. The guy didn't even mention liver support when he was pushing it on me. And prohormones are steroids.
 
This guy was fairly straight forward with his sales pitch. Even went as far as to say, if your going to do it....do it now while it's still on the shelf. LOL!

He did mention Live support and the PCT. I guess like a lot of posts I have read....I always wondered with the adequate liver support if it's OK.

Judging by what I have read and the fact that I really like my liver the way it is, I have decided....eh...maybe not.

No problem, its a good thing you asked and searched. If you want to be on the safe(r) side, check into epistane/havoc
 
I actually was in a supplement store a few hours ago, but fortunately the guy told me about everything. He said that he only carries it because people are going to go somewhere else for stuff if they see he doesn't have it. He also mentioned how all of the 16 year olds come in and buy all the ph/ps's and take insane doses (60mg superdrol) with no diet, ancillaries or pct whatsoever

wow, scary stuff, I went to the local sup store where I live and acted like I didnt know anything about ph to see what the guy would say and he actually did very very good, recommended milk thistle, pct, free test booster, diet, even went as far as to say good diet and protein is all you need, so he got my respect, at least hes not trying to push anything that could get people in trouble later down the road..
even if questions are redundant here and on other boards about ph's at least people are asking even if they are too young, but at least they can get advice and do them in the safest way possible.
