Hell, I picked Temple on the Bucknuts board because I need the points. A lot of desperate folks over there are picking Utah State as well.

hey, with ian johnson hurt, who knows? jk, utah state is terrible. good to see many a buckeye fans here unlike bb.com where im always arguing with michigan fans in their college football thread. even in albuquerque, we have a buckeye fan club at certain sports bars. im telling ya, OSU fans are crazy and they are everywhere! GO BUCKS!!!

Man - that was a bad year. I think that was '85 - our first year with Jimmy Johnson. It's been said he tanked games so that he could get rid of Schnellenberger's assistants.

We lost big leads to Maryland and BC that year. Also lost to the Vols in the Sugar (I think).

Yeah - I'm tried of that play. He threw the ball far, I'll give him that. But - it was fluky that a freaking WHITE WR gets behind the D.
I'm tired of seeing that play.
 
The pics I'll admit to, but not verbal abuse. It's not like I'm channeling the "Chad Henne is a Joke" song through your speakers. Come on, where's your spirit? It's the greatest rivalry in all of sports for Christ sake, and the most important game in all of its history.

I propose a new Manlaw - If you pick an upset in a nationally renowned rivalry game in spite of your rivals pictoral and verbal abuse, you get 5X as many points as usual, and have the option to give points to other supporters to assure they close higher than said rivals.

I don't know if Cal_USC qualifies,IW? The Iron Bowl definetly does, but not around here. Bean was last year's Bama fan, but his team again faded. That's one meanass yearround rivalry, it would be the best, if Bama was more nationally signifigant.

I almost took my third shot in a row at Fresno St. But I decided that UVA is my pick because I am crazy and going for the lead if size and ced miss.

you might be surprised. purdue usually answers when points are scored and their defense is inconsistent and plays well sometimes. they might be able to slow down the hawaii air attack.

How are we going to do this for the Bowl Games?

Do you guys want to pick all the games? Or maybe have some point system like ESPN.com has?
(I.E. you pick your "lock" and make it 10/20/whatever we want and if you get it right, you get those points, then you pick your 2nd most likely to happen and make it 9/19/etc, and on down the line.)

How about everyone just picks 5 bowl game upsets of the choosing (or whatever number we decide) and we can see who does the best.

I was wondering this myself today. I was thinking that since the spreads shouldn't be too high, picking 5 underdogs with the same rules as the regular season, only you get double the points if your pick wins.
 
southern miss already beat houston earlier in the season. ill pick them to do it again in the conference USA championship.

You can't change the spread. Different places use different spreads and these are the ones posted on Sunday or Monday. Nobody else has asked for their spreads to be changed for three months now, no reason to do it the final week of the season.
