that is why i consider it a petty penalty....imagine your son or daughter is killed by a drunk driver and he or she only gets a year of house arrest and it is the drunk drivers 3rd offense...this just happened here in my town and it really annoys me to no end!!!!

if it were my son or daughter who was killed...........

It sucked when I worked in that setting. Those people would load up their carts with $400 worth of food and only have $200 to spend. Then they will sit there, pick and choose what they don't want and then you'd have to fish for it, wait for a supervisor to void it, and make others wait. Then you'd have to put it back later in the day. If you closed, you would never get out on time in the beginning of the month, especially those months with holidays towards the beginning of the month. I guess it is too difficult to know how much you have, get what you know you need, estimate on the higher end while you shop (something that is $9.79 round up to $10) and then go back to get the extras if you have extra money.
 
Cant forget about the wic checks they use then they use ebt food card then whatever's left they use ebt cash!!! Do they have to pay for anything!? No wonder California is in deep debt! Smh!

Okay, this ticks me off so bad! It has to do with traffic!! I hate it when a car is in turning lane and they creep up into the middle of the intersection while the light is green waiting on clear traffic to turn left, and they wait there until the light turns orange and then turn!! Just stay back behind the line and take your turn!
 
hate going to the gym and seeing "strong guys" put one on bunch of weight on the bench and then bouncing it as hard they can smh

There's actually a market out there for people to sell their EBT cards. People will buy them for pennies on the dollar and the owners sell them willingly all day long because they'd rather have the cold hard cash. This is why you'll often see people using them that are wearing expensive shoes, sunglasses, driving nice cars, etc. This annoys me immensely. That whole system is well intentioned, but managed poorly and there's little or no oversight once the applicant is approved in most cases.

Similarly, verbal agreements meaning nothing anymore. My word is my bond, but it seems like lately people will just tell you what they think you want to hear and then when it's time to settle up they say "we never talked about that" or "I don't remember you ever saying that".

littering...i look around and see trash everywhere, it is not uncommon to see people driving along and throw a mcdonalds bag out the window. this really gripes me!!!

When the weatherman (or woman) is so terribly wrong about the forecast you wonder what they were looking at. I'm talking about days where they say 10% chance of rain and it downpours all day or you cancel plans because of 90% chance of rain and then there's not a cloud in the sky.
