Stocks

AMC people, always watch the IWM, AMC is a part of that so when that sells AMC sells, you can see their mornings match up almost perfectly. IWM is Russell 2000, AMC these days are considered a well established mid-cap stock.

This helps distinguish direct shorting and sell offs of AMC, but AMC can also be shorted by shorting IWM and other ETF's holding AMC.
 
Anyone here worried about possible conflict with Russia? Already my beaten portfolio will be sent into a coma :(

I don't think an actual war with Russia has any chance if happening. Ukraine isn't in NATO and we have no real obligation to defend them.

However, when Russia makes whatever move it is planning (and we look feeble in our inability to stop them) it can hurt our economy. And if this emboldens China (and Iran and N. Korea) it can't help. And if our only response is economic sanctions that they do right back to us, it only hurts the economy more.

Lots of bad potential, but a shooting war with Russia probably isn't one of them.

The US has been playing chess wars in 3rd world countries for decades, I think behind the scenes they made a hand shake that they will always keep it at that, but thats my conspiracy hat.

I agree we wont go to war with Russia and the economy is simply just reacting to fear, although gas pipeline stuff does effect the economy for sure.

There is alot of stuff going on effecting the economy, and money not being worth as much as it used to after printing trillions and trillions out of thin air is a place to start.

Then finally they are shutting off quantitative easing, which they are artificially propping up the economy for the first time since 2008 so that probably is already getting priced into the market......that is if, that goes as planned they havent actually started that yet.

....and much more, but we arent writing books here, lol
 
Going through some of the stocks I had in the recent past and also what I had last year, and they sure have freaking melted. Its really not at prices I ever imagined they would be at.
 
There won’t be a war because China and Russia both know we have Palantir.

If your using your Alist, you have to show up to the movie and make sure you get scanned.

When I got my Spiderman I also purchased a ticket separately with each of our accounts instead of inviting her just to be extra sure we each got one.

I could probably dollar cost average by buying even more AMC, but I am having some real doubts now about throwing good money after bad. All my dollar cost averaging through the 30's and then through the 20's seems ridiculous now that we are still falling into the low teens. Ooooofa!

At this stage there are alot, well most of stocks have already tanked like crazy, so A: when is the bottom, and B: what was oversold and undervalued the most?

If shyt keeps up.......well I meant if shyt keeps "down" then there will be plenty of opportunities and fortunes to be made.

Of course, no telling how long this drags out, could be weeks or could be years, I dunno plus Im a new investor with little experience so I have no idea. Inflation, wars, fuel, other supply chain issues (china can really fuq us if they want) etc.....

Unfortunately for me I dont have much dry power anytime soon to invest so I hope my big gamble pays off one of these years, plus I might be stupid and just dump more of it on AMC lol.

Wow….been following this for a while, almost bought it way back in the high teens before the monster jump, my barber recommended it. Not its almost ipo levels again. Playboy is getting into the NFT marketplace but I havent researched it in a long time.

Although NFTs are gimmicky, they make money, and will be more profitable over time. One has to be willing to evolve when it comes to making money going forward in the digital age.

Think long term. Is AMC and profitability going to improve over time? If you believe so, and if the short thesis is dead, and as the stock is less shorted by institutions, the companies value will grow, and continue to. It’s a good long play, after the short squeeze, and even if there was not a short squeeze.

He isnt retiring, if you listen to him carefully he is retiring Lou vs. Wallstreet or possibly keeping the name for nostalgia but he is bringing on Lou Saves America and a new website.

He said we won based of the recent rule changes against Wall Street, there is no more need for "vs."

We had a taste of Lou Saves America a while back where he was going through various domestic and global political issues, but it didnt last last for some reason he let that go for the time being.

The point is whats the point we all have money if he doesnt save America.

I dont really have "debt" I dont count my on time mortgage payments so he nailed that in the bag, but I do worry about the some $30k+ Ive gambled on AMC, that is alot of freaking money for me LOL

I remember a time in life I thought even having 30k was absolutely impossible!

i still have my checking/savings that im so scared to dump in market and i prolly wont .. i have about 2,500K in AMC for my and a grand in my 2yr old son account ..hes an ape too with high avg ($33)
 
Picked up my final 3 shares in pre-market, Im going to focus any more money on crypto. I either top off Safemoon, Id been wanting Saitama but I hate ethereum fees (something that cost me thousands in profits with Shiba lol) and today Im starting to research the Mandala Exchange Token which is at 5 cents right now.

Not trying to influence you in any way, but I would keep my eye on it if it hits single digits if I was in our shoes then think about it. The risk at that point would be very low and if it never pops you should have most of your money but the thing is you never know what happens for sure, could go broke who knows??? But we measure risk.

Al from Boston did say they will crush it back to $5-$10 and then pop before he disappeared after having his emotional strange loveburst with that woman.

The question we have to ask ourselves is whats AMC really worth today? Some people think $20+, I dunno Im not good enough to figure out my own numbers, it will be interesting how the popcorn works out but more importantly how they roll out NFT marketplace if they do so.

yeah i have $500 saved up .. half for amc if needed under $10 or PLTR under $10

if it happens ill spread equally .. if it doesnt happen im happy with riding out the storm

i do believe even without the squeeze .. AMC is worth $20-25
