Speaking of the new South African virus.... maybe this could finally make NVAX a real player? Thus far they have been lagging painfully behind the others....

Just put my pre-order in for Spiderman, first 86k orders get a NFT but there is no way to know until the 22nd.

Put the order separate on my wife's phone just in case, if we were on time we get 2. Servers were busy on the app, never saw that before and in some of the theaters rooms were almost full already. I doubt I got it on time but we will see.

i saw that pop up on my instagram but checked amc website i didnt see any mention of the nft .. i assume you would have to watch it on the opening day dec16th to get into that

hopefully you get them .. as for movie cant wait for it .. i love all the marvel stuff but nothing like the original avengers movies

I didnt see that either just saw the Adam Aaron tweet and saw it on some other place. You need to be a AMC member to qualify, and you dont know you qualify until after the fact on the 22nd. I assume they also want to make sure you actually went to the movie which is good in my books or else Alist members can get their free NFT and not give a shyt about showing up.
 
Im still out of the "buying" market for a long while, but am trying to just chip a tiny bit every week. Picked up 6 more PROG now up to 11 at $3.40.

The Book of Boba Fett is out soon, AMC should show that at the theaters, why not? They should show the best series and get more people to sign up for the membership, of course Disney and others would have to comply.

Im sure thats dependent on both local regulation and perhaps a further push for widespread use of vaccine passports at worst. I doubt we will see a shutdown like we did way back before all these systems and protocols were in place.

I can see it effecting it as some people have fear but I think this is more so being a winter/flu season issue more than Omicron. The fact is we have to deal with both the flu and now covid every year forever and no vaccine will stop it.

It shouldnt effect our AMC short squeeze play.

biden is under tremendous pressure to squash this pandemic and the omicron variant is a unknown variable.

i would not bet the bank that theaters won't go to limited seating.
 
Possible that Omicron fear alone drives AMC price down, and hedges trade millions of Guatemalan shares, and then this further helps a later squeeze? 😉

More than anything else, it all comes down to the story of dark pool trading and billions of fake shares... being fact or fiction.

You mean the O-Commi variant? I think most states that are open, will stay open, then you have loonie commie California and NY government’s that will try to close their cesspools down.

you can never tell...a lot of blue states often follow NY and CALI's lead.

with a 36% approval rating biden is desperate to stop the rise of new covid cases-after all that is what he ran on.

Biden and the Blue King Pins will keep up the “cases” game if they had no restraint from those that believe liberty is better than safety. I’m over COVID. Corona virus variants have been here before COVID19, and will be here after omicron. We all know the real pandemic, getting a still experimental shot.

since we are talking about stocks, i read where vaccine manufacturers are less than a 100 days away from tweaking a new vaccine that SHOULD cover all the mutations including omicron variant....THIS IS WHERE I WOULD BE PUTTING MY MONEY.

not absolutely sure on specifics...i would absolutely do much more research before actually investing money.

since there is no liability involved it seems like a sure thing, unless they dump a ton of money into R@D then things don't pan out---but i sincerely doubt this--especially for the tweaked vaccine...

but on the other hand pfizer is already lowering the projected effectiveness of the pill.

the tweaked vaccine looks like the surest bet, at least at this point.

in my new portfolio i added some sens @3.18 .. put a limit buy of 2.95 for prog as well

MMTLP .. showing decent strength and meta ceo said by end of dec they plan on selling oil and getting out dividends info .. so hopefully we see a spike and it actually happens and doesn't get delayed again

makes sense since biden is pushing so hard for vaccinations.....that was exactly my 1st thought when i read about the lowered expectation.

Other than buying a new Lambo with a different color for every day of the week, Im really, really curious as to not only the truth but the extent of it. Im even willing to give up one of my 7 Lambo's in exchange to find out.

Seems like today the entire market is shytty.

It’s end of November so maybe some sell offs for end of tax season, maybe also some sell offs as people freak over a new bug.

Man, if people only realized there were coronavirus variants before even COVID-19 was released… If people turned off the TV, exercised, and just lived, what a difference it would make.

GGPI - got trashed on cnn by fat jim .. not surprised at all though, same guy who said not to buy tesla at $500 and amc going to penny

SENS - hopeful that dec is the month for news but wouldnt be surprised if it gets pushed till 2022

That’s great hope you guys do well with that especially by the time if they integrate with The Metaverse.

It was hard to let that slip away yesterday under $5.

I’m comfortable with my GGPI play, that IMO is a winner.

I traded $2.7k worth of Palantir stocks (125 shares at $21.70) for 200 shares of GGPI at $13.70.

It was risky when I did it being it just ran up, but my gut told me this wasn’t going to go down back to $10, and being it’s a SPAC it shouldn’t go below $10. I did but on the short term dip as it came down a tiny bit from $14.50.

I took a small loss on Palantir and I’m ok with it. IMO Palantir is a great long term stock I was just getting bored and tired or the endless employees cashing out their salaries over and over again.

GGPI is a 80 million float, I dunno the ins and outs how the spac works but there is going to be dilution at some point, I think when they merge they will have 2 billion shares. I stopped researching this a while ago it was making me tired lol
 
If PROG hits below $2.50 I’ll add 9 more and make it an even 20.

covid + this new O thing + feds increasing interest rates is putting fear into people head

i can't remember but im sure we have had 20-25% drop days before .. better not find out another offering is the reason
