Stocks

Just want to add, there is legit short selling where you bet a stock will go down and you borrow a share with a promise to buy it at a later date at a discount.

Now....this entire movement is based off of hedgfunds short selling potentially not only millions of shorts, but possibly hundreds of millions pr over a illion of fake shorts.

There is no limit to how high a stock can go up, at one point a short seller has to buy all the shares, and if a brokerage sees a need they will margin call the hedgefunds and give them a short time to cover their shares or all their accounts start getting liquidated to pay for it.

The holders (we) control the price of the share, so if nobody sells their shares thats when the price goes up like crazy. Thats the squeeze we are all hoping to get to. Theoretically its possible to shoot the price of AMC to 100k or more. I dont think thats happening because I know people like me are not waiting that long lol.

There are over 3.2 million retail AMC hodlers in the US and Canada alone and we own over 80 percent of the entire legit float of 450 million shares that exist.

insane #'s of what we control .. reddit/wsb/utubers need to keep reminding everyone not to sell for cheap ( not a financial advice ) .. our ceiling can be crazy

my dream goal:
at 1k i would just take out my initial investment (very important to do so imo) with 4-5shares and play with house $ until 10-25k-100k

I held about 1k shares average $10 until last week I sold off a chunk of other stocks that were making me sleepy in my short term account when it went in the high 12s and now squeezed out 1,400 shares. My average might be around $11 now or more.

It is a lot of the emotional investors that have zero clue of the potential. I am so immune to the psychological manipulation but I have been here a while.

I think it’s also traditional investors not understanding the new way of trading with the Reddit army and social media army.

Hedge funds are fucked because these downward swings don't even faze the majority of AMC & GME holders.
Current prices aren't even near our targets. They really think we'll sell at $26? :ROFLMAO: Lambo or Homeless. No in between.

Before major rises there are dips. Not even worried. Good for the paper hands to leave at these share prices rather than later.

LOL this is a war, this is one of the reasons Im in. Of course we are all here to make money, thats the only way we really truly win but this is personal to me. Not financial advice, lol.

This is a great guide that someone put together and a good overview of the potential short squeeze and what to expect....although I dont agree with everything and I personally think they would never allow 500k to happen, and even if we hit that you probably wont be getting anything near that.

Make sure you all vote, the brokerages should hand you out info on June 2nd to vote, this is important!!!!!!!!!!!! We all have time to vote so if you dont get it that day its not over, but if there are any delays contact them. Last time I was able to vote with each and every brokerage I held stock in. Vote every time!

How are you tracking other markets?
My father in law says AMC is a dead cat, recommends selling. He is basing this on the 2019 stock price before COVID. I say things are different now than back then. AMC will boom better now than before.Invalid Link Removed

If I voted a couple months ago do I have to go to the link I got on email and vote again?

Do you think the SEC would allow between 1000 to 10,000 a share?

So Ortex is the place to see other countries' markets?

Yes this is new, the other was scraped, wait for a new link...shareholder addressed by end of July. We should have official full audit results by then.

Nobody knows what’s on the new vote as of yet, should be interesting.

Nobody knows but I don’t see why $1000 would be much of a problem.

There is another side of this where you may argue the capital gains tax will clear the deficits. But.....I dunno how hard this can collapse the entire stock market so I dunno.

The real issue isn’t just the SEC, it has to do with insurance.

Even if the SEC/Government doesn’t step in during a major squeeze, it may get to the point where if insurance has to cover we all may have to “settle” to an amount, that’s how insurance usually works. It won’t be easy to get your full amount because they are also capped at 4 trillion and then Federal bailouts come in, and that’s the other issue to look out for even if they did let it all go......where is the money coming from?

Thanks for clarification on that. My wife asked me the other day where all this money is coming from if the stocks jump so high. I didn't know how to explain it to her.

So, CashApp has to send me another new link. They were on time last time, and since have not gotten a new link from them.

I think it’s the SIDC (Securities Investor Protection Corporation) that insures the stockmarket and I think their cap is 4 trillion but double check that going off the top of my head and I’m on the road. It works kinda like the FIDC for banks, but for stocks instead.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong. After that the Federal Government has to step in.
