APE was supposed to drop via Compushare to all brokerages (I think to the DTCC first actually) with T+0, I think I saw that through direct official AMC sources.

I actually picked up 3 shares of APE between two accounts at 5.50. Also picked up 9 shares of Cinemark at 11 cents a pop just so I can lose it when they go bankrupt lol.
 
AMC, pretty high 148 million in volume, APE has another 120 million. Im sure retail went all this way to go apeshyt crazy and sell their crap shares, amirite?

Today's Off Exchange & Dark Pool volume is 69,122,876, which is 47.51% of today's total volume

not the highest percentrage but insane number 69+mil
 
I saw someone post on Reddit asking if it's possible that AMC sold off a ton of APE to pay off debt and such is the reason for crashing prices...anyone have any thoughts on that?

It sure is possible, but I wouldnt think AMC would want to tank their own stock and devalue their own value of the APE's so hard. AMC wouldnt "crash" their own prices, its ridiculous, although is possible they could have sold off some.

If they did Adam Aaron and/or AMC would then make that public in the future, but nobody has any way of knowing.

Thats what APE is there for, AMC is left untouched and they can raise funds to make AMC better by diluting APE when the time is right. Its a good win-win for both sides. Its not a win for Adam Aaron and also his shareholders if he crashed his own stocks.
 
Well, so far on day 1 this didn't end the way we'd hoped. Closing for AMC at around 10.50, $APE around 6, vs AMC around 18 before the split...

Maybe Im overly optimistic, but with all the crap that went down today I smell just more desperation, there is nothing they can do to shake the majority of us out of this play, most of us are willing to take this all the way down to zero before quitting which isnt going to happen anyways.

If shorts/hedgies have a mil shares of AMC .. wouldnt they have APE shares too that they can continue to dump

Maybe thats the only reason we ran a month ago bc they continued to buy AMC bc they wanted those shares.

Yes dividends dont have option but there's ways to short it still .. i dont understand his logic. yes if APE wasnt availble to buy .. then i can see it would be hard to short .. but its the same thing they can buy unlimited amount and short it forever.

( i get the whole ETF/options .. but still to say cant be shorted is just wrong )

Lou is wrong because APE inherited all the "official" shorts AMC has went also to APE equally.

Retail owns the AMC float 90%, (not including whats in ETF's) which means we also own that much in APE unless retail sold off yesterday. Shytadel has some 600k as long, The big whale Blackrock had dumped 40% of their AMC long just a week or 2 ago, but they do have some 25 million.

Alot of retail are reporting not getting their APE's, people reporting not getting them until Friday.

The whole thing is rigged. I just opened my chart and APE is already halted!!!!

Anyways yes they have APE's to use to short, alot of people dont have APE, everyone should have had them on Friday. Brokers had 2 weeks to prepare, at worst there was no reason they couldnt have had them ready Monday morning unless either the DTCC didnt give it to them because they ran out (AMC synthetics) or some Hedgefuqqs have them money to borrow them.
 
AMC Opening Bell Ortex. I smell more desperation, look how high shares on loan have gone up. Not that they wont succeed with stalling but thats a big pop in CTB and freefloat popped some 30% this past week nearing 21%.

Cant wait to see the FTDs reported next month. I bet we will have record numbers.

Im considering selling mine off at $20 now, iiifffff it gets there. At some point APE needs to dilute and this is a big guessing game. I can do things with that money plus I can pick up more AMC if it was still low enough.

Being a A-list member doesnt make a difference to me as I can watch it with no extra cost, but Ill go ahead and take that NFT, why not?

Moviepass is making a compback, I think in a day or 2, got a private invitation. Not joining, AMC A-list is good for me plus as much as I made out well with Moviepass years ago, I dont trust them at all.

i loved movie pass in the beginning .. $10 for unlimited movies, i used to have 2 and charge my friends half price lol

For the NFT you have to be sure your in investor connect and watch your emails when the code comes out.

For the tickets, did you at least get as far as selecting your seat and getting all the way to the payment screen?

Worst case scenario, it says "The vouchers can also be redeemed at any participating AMC theatre via the ticketing kiosk or where tickets are sold."

Just hope if you decide to get your tickets right before the movie that its not sold out.
 
STBX has halted a few times but allowed to pop at extraordinary amounts, unlike APE where they halted it on unextraodinary amounts.

Actually, got it to work on one voucher, but the second says "This voucher has already been redeemed. Please double check your information and try again."

i just got an email for the vouchers .. do u use the 12 or 16 digit code ? also be sure the show is for Aug 26th
