staying on too long: the effects?

If one were to cycle for too long, would the Prohormones eventually stop having an effect, even if the dosage was increased over time? Just curious.

they will continue to work over time you would become desensitized though and require more not to mention the risk of permamnent shutdown.

Intersting??? Permamnet shutdown??? Is that true??

Not being a ball buster, just I thought you always come back even if its so long you end up going back to where you started. I only am saying this because I know someone who (this is stupid) who just stayed on juice, never got off for years. Please dont think that I dont believe there is some serious health problems he may have and not be aware off.

Again I am not being a ball buster, I am sincerily intersted in this statement. I am currently running a 1-test cyp 4ad cycle and the first two weeks I ran m1t. I will keep it on the shorter side if I run even the smallest risk of permamnet shutdown.

very few people actually get "permanently shut down"...you mention that you knew someone who never got off juice. well guess what? there are tons of guys like that. and many of them will require HRT for the rest of their lives when they eventually come off. will all of them? no, but the risk for test production not fully rebounding goes up considerably when you dont take sufficient time off. also, long cycles increase the risk (one of the reasons i am sticking with PH and short-cycle AS at the moment)

will being mostly shut down for 6-8 weeks cause your natty test to not come back all the way? probably not. 16 weeks of virtually complete shutdown from test e? again, probably not but the chance is much greater. you see where the argument is heading....the more you are ON and the less natty test you're making during that time, the greater the risk (not counting essentially unsuppresive cycles like MOHN solo or MDHT)

Well there is NO such thing as total shutdown my reference was to there natty test levels returning in the very low numbers. So basically never recovering ie permanent shutdown.

plus the longer you are on the more body will produce hormones that will balance out the equation. so you will have elevated estrogen and other hormones that are anti-anabolic, so when you do come off cycle you have a longer recovery time with elevated catabolic hormones.

The longer you are on the longer it takes to recover and this can be downright miserable. I've done 12 weekers of PH with alternating methyls..totally not worth it. Recovery took almost 7 weeks to feel even close to be a male again.

The most noticable effect I have felt is an overall lessening of libido.

The more time you spend on the more desensitized your androgen receptors are going to become. You may well get your natty test levels back 100% but that test level will be less effective..at least in theory and from anecdotal observation.

Conventional wisdom dictates that its best to get off when the gains slow or stop. After this occurs there's really no reason to be on other than you "fear" coming off.

Cycling takes discipline.

I try to alternate ph every cycle because m1t stopped working for me so I had to double the dose to get anything. I'll be off m1t for a yr but am using other ph, never 2 cycles in a row.
and ditto everyone else on the length.
