Statically charged creatine?

A few days ago, I received 500g of ProtaQuest creatine mono.

Well, it didn't say in the product description, but it does say on the bottle that it is micronized... very powdery vs. grainy w/ non-micronized.

Anyway, as soon as I popped the heat seal off the top, it was like the 4th of July... little clumps of creatine powder were exploding out of the jug all over the place. When I put a measuring spoon near the creatine, it would move w/ the spoon, so I'm assuming that all this is from being statically charged.

Anyone had this type of experience w/ any powders? How do I *uncharge* it? It's getting better... the powder isn't nearly as active as it was the first time I opened it up, but some powder still jumps out of the container.

I had this happen to me with a jug of protein once. It was nutrabolics, which i don't usually use. I literally freaked out because for a second i thought the protein I had been using for weeks before was loaded with tiny bugs lol. Upon closer examination i realized it was some sort of static at work

stick a piece of rubber in there and twirl it around...maybe it will absorb some of the static electricity and its a non-conductor. shake the jug to mix up powder and twirl the rubber across the top of the powder a few more times .... i dunno, im talking out of my ass but it cant hurt to try.

try putting a shoe in there if it fits and just keep it in there until the problem is solved, u run out of creatine, or need to wear them to go out
