**Starting 2015 With Ostar1ne and PSMF**

Some real strong bench presses man, I used osta on my last cut and actually added 2-3 lbs lean body mass... I was no where near your deficit but you should be able to retain the muscle you've got

eh no where near I want to be but thanks man. With the deficit I'm in I'm surprised my volume load seems to be increasing and that's 100% due to Ostar1ne. Wish I was able to get a dexa scan or hydrostatic weighing to properly read LBM before and after this run just to compare. Either way I know I'm at the very least maintaining my LBM.

That's one of the biggest things I noticed, I can handle a much larger volume load, which is insane while in a deficit, especially as steep as your deficit is

Was lurking on your trest/dmz log and without reading threw every post how do you like supplementing soy lecithin? And how are you running your dosing and what brand did you go with? Thinking of adding it once I'm allowed more macro's and possibly switch to ckd. Heard good things about it just wondering personal opinion..

Nice work with the dmz/trest also!

I haven't actually gotten that far yet , I'm still mid week 4 of my 8 week cycle with dmz//trest... Which is awesome btw

Weigh In: 218 lbs
-4lbs from last week and -18lbs in 17 days

I'm pleased, but not satisfied. My fat intake since Sunday has been in the 40-50g range and I need to take that lower to 25g. I shouldn't complain being it's still a positive move in the right direction and it's more than a pound everyday. And I know my body isn't burning through my LBM thanks to Ostar1ne doing it's job. Goal for next week is to drop 6lb minimum. Energy level's are fantastic and I've come really accustomed to the diet change this far.

Carb up tonight and aiming for the 250-300g range and a full body lifting session in the am.

Wow!!! 18lbs. in 17 days. Way to go man

WOW man, 18 pounds in 17 days and you're not satisfied? That is great. Even if you figure just 8 pounds of that is fat, that is 0.5 pounds of fat/day, which is a 1750 calorie deficit in theory. Tremendous job.

I'm seeing similar results. Lost about 8 pounds in the past 5 days, obviously lots of water. Hunger has not even been an issue. Had some "cravings" late last night, but not so bad. Workout intensity has dropped a little, but still getting good workouts. I can sense that after about another week I think I will be comfortable.

It's funny, I fill a bowl with 6 oz. broccoli and then put 6 egg whites and 2 oz. of chicken on top, which is about 250 calories total, and my gf looks at me and says, "That's a ton of food, you're gonna eat all that?" Funny what a difference the veggies can make in making you think you're eating a lot. Loving the diet and it is good to see your results - it is motivating me to stick to it! Thank you.

Can be hard on myself at times and expect perfection but hey it comes with success at the end of it all. I am satisfied in reality but always feel like there's room to improve and have the hunger for more..

Man I will have to go back through but great log so far! 18lbs in 17days is no joke. How do you feel overall with it?

I feel great. Was a struggle at first but became accustomed to the deficit in no time it felt. Only lifting twice a week with full body workouts. Low rep range with heavy weight to retain LBM while on PSMF with Ostar1ne to help out also of course so there's no catabloic state going on..

-18 lbs in 17 days is no joke regardless of water weight or not!!! Great job I'm jealous for sure

The pursuit of perfection drives us all. If we were satisfied, we wouldn't have the intensity and drive to do what we do and make the sacrifices we make. Keep up the hard work man!

Yes - great job. I understand the hard on yourself thing, I also understand wanting more. If we stop wanting more, we don't go any further. No different than bench pressing 400 pounds. Then you'll either want to do 500 or you'll stay where you are.

Still. 18 pounds in 17 days - inspiring. You have lost more in a half month than most people can lose in a month, or maybe even two, even if they are working hard. And they would be losing water weight in the beginning just the same. I'm sure people around you that see you are thinking, "What the hell?" I will be thrilled if I lose 20 pounds in 30 days on this plan.

01/16/15-Workout B

Incline Bench 4x8 225x2,245x1,255X1
Wide Lat Pulldown 3x8 140,150, 160
DB Lat Raise 3x8 25x2, 30x1
Squat 3x8 225X1, 235X2
Glute-Ham Raise 3x8 95
Seated Calf 3x8 185
BB Curl 3x8 85x1,95x1, 105X1
Close-Grip Bench 3x8 225X2, 205X1

Full body lifting session went good today except for some joint stiffness I got and still have in my right elbow. Don't think this is from the Ostar1ne as studies show it has healing properties to help with joint issues. That explains the drop in weight on my last set of close grip bench. Other then that mishap I put up the numbers I wanted to and even went heavier on squats. Volume continues to get easier to handle with the diet and had a nice full pump today. Energy is still on par with what I've had the last couple lifting sessions.

Focusing on keeping the diet clean over the weekend and some light cardio work both days. Free meal on Sunday night with Monday morning I get to lift again. Really missing lifting 6, even 4 days in a week but the results are worth it. And I know when I get back to that I'll be able to jump right back into the grind of it..

Slacked on posting yesterdays workout so here it is..

01/19/15- Workout A
Bench 4x8 255x3,240x1
BB Row 3x8 155,165,170
DB Shoulder Press 3x8 65x2,70x1
Leg Press 3x8 550,650x2
Lying Hamstring Curl 3x8 110
Standing Calf Raise 3x8 255
Hammer Curl 3x8 35
Tricep Pressdown 3x8 110,120,130

Hitting consistent numbers week to week I'm very pleased with that. Clothes are getting loose and people are certainly noticing the changes around work and I'm getting daily compliments. Then of course I explain what I'm doing and I get the WTF face and told I'm nuts lol. Did cardio this am and I overdid it for sure. Ran my first sub 10 minute mile which for a former fat kid who couldn't even run a lap around the track in high school is a big deal lol. Added in a lot of ab work with stair climber, elliptical and basketball so this will certainly be cut back tomorrow so I'm not feeling like sh!t.

Notes on the Ostar1ne so far is that it's simply working. I'm dropping weight in both water, glycogen and fat while retaining muscle and strength. I've ran clen before and haven't gotten the muscle sparing effects that I am currently. Loving every bit of it. I'm still currently undecided on when I'll take a break from PSMF. Lyle recommends a 2-6 week run depending on how you feel. I'm into week 3 currently and feeling confident I'll make it the full 6. Only way I'll pump the breaks is if I feel my body breaking down.

Will update with weigh in on Thursday AM, aiming to hit 212!

01/22/15

Weigh In: 214lbs
-4lbs from last week and -22lbs in 24 days

I was aiming to hit 212lbs this week and it didn't happen but I'm still pleased. Especially since I have felt like **** since my Tuesday run. Still been hitting the gym every morning and keeping the diet on point. Not sure If I'm coming down with something or if it's my body telling me to up the calories. Always listen to your body that's one thing I always stress to fellow lifters. Going to roll with it at least until next week and if I'm feeling the same then it's time to add in some calories and bump the Ostar1ne up to 25mg/ed with added workouts. Or may go with a CKD approach and keep it at 20mg, opinions are surely welcomed. It's a win/win for me either way lol.

I also want to note I'm nearly half way into this 8 week run and personally I haven't felt much suppression. Sex drive hasn't been an issue and the boys are still hanging low. This is user dependent of course and with no bloods to show I can't speak technical numbers.

Carb up today which I'm looking forward to like a kid on Christmas and going to hit the gym for full body session B tomorrow AM.

Great job man. Listen to your body, but I also wouldn't freak out if you feel a little off. It is an extreme diet after all....I know I expected it would be harder and it sounds like you did too.

01/23/15-Workout B

Incline Bench 4x8 225
Wide Lat Pulldown 3x8 140
DB Lat Raise 3x8 30
Squat 3x8 235
Glute-Ham Raise 3x8 95
Seated Calf 3x8 165
BB Curl 3x8 95x2, 105X1
Close-Grip Bench 3x8 205

Lacked the motivation and focus I needed to zero in on my workout due to some personal things going on. More important to get in there and get it done though and that's exactly what I did. Fought threw the bull****! Didn't gain anything from my carb meals yesterday and this is after downing some pizza hut and wings! Definitely feeling better then I was the last couple days I'm thinking it was just me coming down with something.

I have to note with Ostar1ne my surgically repaired knee has seriously never been better. I ruptured my quad tendon, fractured my patella and tore my meniscus all in the same injury. This was 3 years ago or so and none of my lifts involving legs have been able to be pain free. But with Ostar1ne I know it helps with bone and skeletal muscle/tissue and I really feel these effects. It's becoming so much more then just a supplement to be androgenic/non-catobolic for me.

Damn man. Impressed on your current results. Keep killing it bro! Doing something similar but not seeing the lbs drop yet.

01/26/15- Workout A

Standing Calf Raise 3x8 255
Hammer Curl 3x8 35,40x2
Tricep Pressdown 3x8 110,120,130

Really focused on slowing the tempo down and keep stress on the muscle fibers this morning. DOMS is pretty intense today and cardio was very low impact this morning. Really starting to feel a bit of suppression with Ostar1ne which was expected. Going to add in some Alphamax to help in that department. My PCT will also consist of Alphamax (2 bottles ran back to back so 8 weeks total of that) and a low dose SERM, probably 10mg of nolva for a couple weeks, not sure if 20mg would be overkill or not.

20mg of Nolva is not overkill. No harm in running it that way at all. 20/20/10/10 just like a PH pct is fine. Suppression is suppression, and recovery is recovery. Without bloodwork you cannot make the assumption anything is "mild".

Good point my man, thanks for the input..

Weigh In: 210lbs
-4lbs from last week and -26lbs in 31 days

Another successful week in the books, but this will be my last week utilizing PSMF. Making it about 5 weeks was a good situation for me. I've dropped 26lbs since the start of PSMF with Ostar1ne and I really couldn't be happier with the results so far. I've kept and built strength, especially with volume and endurance. I'm going to slowly add in carbs starting this weekend so by next week I'll be hitting macros of 200g of protein/carbs and 90g of fat which will be roughly 2,400 calories. I expect to gain some glycogen stores back. Definitely looking forward to resetting my metabolism and eating more food lol

I Will be upping my training to 5 days a week with added cardio. I will continue Ostar1ne for a while and begin a proper PCT with SERM when that time comes but I will not be going the full 8 weeks. This is not due to Ostar1ne or anything related to it just so that is clear. I haven't had any feeling of suppression since the other day, that does not mean I am not. Without proper bloods I can't report on that anymore then how I feel. Looking forward to how these next couple workouts are with the added fuel!

Dude I love your updates. Always hitting your goals. This is truly where Osta shines and you have made the most of it.

That is awesome man. I hope I can get the same results as you as far as the weight loss. I know how you feel now about the "I'm not satisfied" thing. I am on day 19 and as of this morning I was down 13 pounds. Funny thing is, I think I had a big "whoosh" after I weighed myself this morning and I just weighed again when I got home - and I was 3 pounds lighter, so 16 pounds in 19 days if that holds. I know I should be happy, but I want more, haha. Your results are slightly ahead of mine, which motivates me! I love your updates. They help keep me going.

How far away from your target are you right now? Or are you there? Are you going to bulk after this run or continue to diet?

Holy weight loss man! Hoows the recovery between workouts?

This is a great log! Thanks for being so thorough and detailed! I just stumbled across this thread and I had to go back and read it all. Great job on your goals as that amount of weight loss is nothing to sneeze at! I'm due for some weight loss and osta has intrigued me. I've always bulked and recomped back and forth but never aimed for a full on weight loss cycle. I'm a weak person and can't control my eating so that's why I've always bulked/recomped. Job well done thus far!

Nothing wrong with wanting more man but you've done a great job yourself. And I'm glad I can help motivate you man it's what I strive to do daily. As far as my target, I want to be 200lbs at 10% bf. Still need to continue building LBM and drop fat to do that of course so I would say it'll be more of a recomp then anything.

Thanks my man! I try to be as detailed in my logs because nothing annoys me more then wanting to do research on something and the log be half assed or incomplete lol. I wouldn't mark ostar1ne as a weight loss supplement, it helped me preserve and even possibly grow LBM during my PSMF run. It helped keep my strength up and muscles dense/full. I really can't wait to run Ostar1ne for a full 6 weeks with a decent caloric intake to really put it to the test. I have a lot of stuff in my stash currently before I'll ever get to that though lol. And don't mark yourself as weak minded when it comes to eating, change that attitude and own that **** man!

The muscle preservation is what I'm after...I should have worded that differently. Your absolutely right about changing my mind set. I was just being honest with myself and your thread has me face to face with that reality.

It absolutely helps with that, no way beside AAS could I have kept the muscle with that diet. It's a daily fight though getting through any diet just have to put your best foot forward everyday brother.

Thanks for the positive advice carmin! The more I research, the more I realize muscle preservation is where it shines. Keep up the good work!

First Day back with more calories and it was a great workout. Recovery in between sets is awesome with this high volume, really feeling the DOMS already from this AM. This weekend was hectic with traveling for me and felt like my life was out of order a bit and a tad unfocused this morning but I got it done either way. Bumped my Ostar1ne dosage up to 25mg since I'll be ending this run in the next week or so I figured why not. Will hit chest tomorrow with a similar volume set up.

Chest went good today. Can feel a huge difference in muscle hardening/fullness with just 200g carbs daily. Strength is there and I could go heavier but for this week I'm trying to get my body accustomed to lifting 5 days a week again. Having some sinus issues so that's a bitch currently but not letting it stop me. Made cardio hell at the end of the workout but worth it either way. Won't do a weight check until Saturday after a cardio session. Legs are on the agenda tomorrow morning.

02/04/15- Legs

Standing Calf Raise 3x15 255
Glute Ham Raise 3x10 135
Stair climber 15min

My knees haven't felt this good on leg day in such a long time. I really feel I'm reaping the benefit of the healing properties found in research with Ostar1ne. Couldn't be happier with how I felt today and being able to slowly hit depth on my squats, it's difficult with screws in my knee trust me. I'm really feeling the DOMS from yesterdays chest workout and not looking forward to them tomorrow with my legs.

SN- Not sure If y'all are a fan of coconut oil for fat's/mct's but try that **** in coffee, taste amazing and an awesome energy boost.

Really Focused on time under tension on these workouts. Pump was intense, definitely on arm day. Really could feel the muscle contract when I needed it to. Loving Ostar1ne at 25mg and with the extra calories. Might have to run another Ostar1ne cycle at this level after my DPLEX/TR3N run im planning to start at the end of April. Doing cardio in the AM and chest on Sunday since I'll be out of town next Friday-Sunday to make sure my workouts are in. Will update weight tomorrow also.
