Start of New Cycle

For the next 10 days will be pushups, situps, reverse situps, locomotives, mountain climbers, sprints resistance bands, and 2-5 mile runs, and different stretches. I'll log if y'all want or juat wait till I'm back

I’d be interested in what you do (and the format you use).....always looking for ideas for myself.

I tend to rely on emom’s and tabata to keep the intensity (as I find it harder to push to the max on that type of training by myself

I'll post tomorrow. Since that is most likely when I get my first workout in. Easier down here to do workouts early in the morning when its a bit cooler

Lol - you should try early morning in the uk this time of year if you want cooler. Frigging icicles forming on my eyebrows last week

So this mornings workout went back a little bit to my active Army days, with a little resistance band work as well.

Push-Ups: 35,25,20,20

Crunches: 25,25,25,25

Chair Tricep Dips: 40,40,38,25

Resistance Band Upright Row: 40,40,40,35

Resistance Band Bicep Curls(B/L): 40,40,40,40

Sprints: 10x30secs

Still trying to figure a way to do pullups. Dad cut down all the big trees. Only have a small orange, and lemon tree left on the property.

Short workout today, rain and low visibility cut it a bit short. Started with rotational exercises and stretching

Push-Ups: 40,30,20,20

V-Ups: 25,25,25,25

2 mile Run: 14:01.13

That's a good run time... You can just do that without running consistently?
Before I was retired from the Army I was doing around 13:10.50. Now a days, I don't do Cardio all the time. But, I do Cardio when I cut so about 4 months out the year. And I normally do a 5 min bike ride on leg days normally. Not always but most of the time.

Good man glad your getting your workouts in.... Enjoy your vacay man. Going home is always kind of a mixed emotions thing for me. Getting older sucks lol

I know the feeling. Use to be able to come home and run into tons of people I know. Now, I don't see anyone anymore, or I hear all about all the people that died. I just asked my mom yesterday about a guy my oldest brother use to hangout with, she said well he died a few years ago in a car wreck

Only thing that springs to mind is this

Not quite. Lol. But, that would make for a good workout video. Lol.

The locomotive you stand upright put your arms straight out in front of you and bring your knee to your elbow. Start with your right and then your left, and then your right, and back to your left thats 1. Let me see if I can find a video

Ah ok, is it done at running pace (high knees style)

Off today and tomorrow. Church this morning. Then helping mom and dad get ready for the 400+ we will have here tomorrow. Gotta love Christmas in a big family.

looks good! Also looks like you had a full house. Enjoy it my friend

Today with a light rain. I did a 3 mile ruck march with 75lb pack 55:30.17...Way off my Army time, which we were required to do 12 miles in 3 hours. Maybe, I need to start doing this more often, and get my time back again. Think when I get home I will pick up some leg weights, and hit the treadmill, worked great to better my time when I was still Active Duty
