Recent evidence on Saw Palmetto show it's less than effective. Look into other supplements like Beta-sitosterol or Pygeum. There's prescription options as well but those are decent OTC options.

I could be wrong but I believe if you are talking about Epiandro, it will not negative effect the prostate. Just about positive I read that on here.

It's already 5a Reduced, can't protect against anything with supposed 5a-R inhibitors. Lots of brains think Estrogen is the cause of Prostate problems now, anyway - they actually prescribe DHT in other countries for Prostate problems. YMMV.
