before I got into exercise at 32 I was 322 lbs at 49% BF. I had also ‘not responded well to exercise’ and ‘tried everything’
truthfully, unless you have a serious medical problem you can get below 20% BF. Anyone can.
have you hired a competent PT and followed the program consistently?
do you track everything you eat (weighing everything)?
have you looked at your NEAT calorie expenditure and maximised it?
and so on
im not saying it’s easy, just that it’s possible.
if you ‘don’t respond well to exercise’ your not doing the right exercise for you (or genetic makeup actually determines what we are better suited to), more likely is you haven’t found exercise you enjoy so you aren’t consistent. Do you play sports? Enjoy hiking? Exercise classes? Lifting heavy weight for low reps? Light weight for loads of reps?
to get down to a sensible body composition anything involving moving works. To get an impressive physique will require lifting weights in reality but cross that bridge when you get there (for reference I lost about 50lbs just playing tennis whilst in a calorie deficit before I touched a weight)
as everyone else has said, anabolics or clomid etc properly isn’t a good idea. Even if it worked you’ll not have learnt the foundation of how to do it naturally meaning you’ll have to keep taking xxxx or you’ll end up back where you are.
