Maybe I am reading that wrong, but it sounds like the injection of the capsaicin into the white adipose tissue caused a rebound fat gain because the body thought it had less fat than it did(because the nerves werent working properly I guess) and tried to get back to homeostasis. Or maybe the hamsters were diabetic =/

again I may just be retarded and reading it wrong, but it appears the capsaicin injection caused an increase in fat cell size without increasing the number of fat cells, along with DECREASED CGRP levels(and its elevated CGRP levels that cause insulin resistance right?)
