I want to introduce myself and give some backstory, as I am writing this log for slightly atypical reasons- primarily at the impetus of receiving some free products to log from tunedsports but my situation makes it seem like a good idea for me to keep track of things..

My mom decided to smoke quite a few cigarettes while she was pregnant with me and as a result (this is the most likely cause I think?) I have been living in a somewhat frail and definitely sickly body since birth. In high school, I was angry about that and I managed to pull some pretty serious lifts for a 135lb at 6’2.. So 5 years ago or so now, I was fairly strong. 3 years or so ago now, my health completely failed and it was speculated that I had everything from fibromyalgia to an unknown autoimmune condition. I am a chronic pain patient but choose to use Kratom instead of real opiates. I consume about 1000 grams of the stuff a month. Any questions you have about this, feel free to ask.

I’d spent years before this hacking my mind into working properly- and I made great strides- but it had never occurred to me to hack my body into health as well, needless to say I’m very excited about this. My cycle experience consists of a single cycle of 20mg ostarine with an arimistane PCT. In the weeks leading up to this, I’ve been on 8mg LGD-4033, 3 weeks or so. I ended up wanting for something more powerful and dramatic.

Stuff I have on hand:

Eradicate (straight up 25mg arimistane tabs.)
After Cycle (50mg arimistane plus a testosterone and libido booster complex)
Form XT (35mg arimistane with a bit of supporting ingredients.)

Tamoxifen

Ancillary supplements:

Diet consists of a large amount of uh, mostly good food. I’m gaining weight and not getting more fat so I’m not going to worry about this right now. I have a protein shake or two daily and sip BCAAs all day when I remember to do it.



PRs to beat from years ago:

Squat:200lb 5RM

(weakest lift- my back doesn’t like either the exercise, or perhaps my form.) No skilled criticism I ever received alleviated it, but front squats did not exacerbate any sort of pain. Now, my wrists cannot handle a front squat and so unfortunately I will be replacing the typical back squat with high repetition 50lb weighted vest ones for this log.

Bench Press:180lb
Hex bar deadlift: 350lb
DB row: 90lb 5RM

One of the products I received was Form XT, I figured it was probably a bottle of arimistane. Cool, I like arimistane! And 35 mg a tab.. but wait could it be.. a proprietary blend?? It is! Let’s see what we’ve got here.

Proprietary Blend, 575mg

D-Aspartic Acid.. Well, we’ve **** our pants at the gate here. Effective daily dose of DAA is at MINIMUM 1-2g. However, I’ve got no problem with it being underdosed- I feel that DAA is conditionally neurotoxic. Google will provide much discourse here..
Calcium Lactate: I’m guessing this is to help along the anabolic related bone strengthening often seen.. Wouldn’t be good to have calcium in here were that DAA dose sufficient.
Ginger root: Love it, put ginger root into everything I take please. Helps digestion, anti-inflammatory, what’s not to love?
Quercetin: Cool, more good stuff. Energy, antioxidant, pain relief. Bioavailability increaser.
Phillodendron A.: Assuming this is in here for its probably anti inflammatory and healing properties. I’m noticing a pattern: I think they’re attempting to head off at the pass the joint pain often felt if you crash estrogen too much. Unfortunately since the blend is proprietary it’s hard to make a prediction and we’ll have to watch the reviews/logs.
Piperine: Alright, a bio-availability enhancer. Blocks liver enzymes. Not the hugest fan of these because I take a lot of stuff, but I’ve never experienced a problem with anything containing this before.

Not the worst blend, not the best. Obviously I’m not a fan of proprietary blends.. I’m going to take the stuff as if they’re 50mg arimistane tabs and that’s pretty much what they feel like.

The next product I received is AMS Body Mortar. I’ve tried a few BCAAs now so I’m interested to see how this matches up. BCAAs, electrolytes, glutamine aand.. I personally wish I would have received the one with quick carbs- I’m not scared of some sugar while I’m working out. But there is a version with that. It tastes pretty good not flat out amazing but an enjoyable beverage especially when ice cold. I’ve heard it’s difficult to mess up a BCAA product and it appears that AMS didn’t. Performance yet to be seen but I’m not expecting any surprises.

Well dosed electrolytes- heavy on potassium.
Glutamine included
It mixes well and tastes good.

Next up is Mind and Muscle’s preworkout and fat burner combo- Wycked 2.1. From the description on the site it is specifically aimed to be just as good as a DMAA product. Looking at the ingredients- I don’t think so. So tired of Yohimbe in everything!

Per scoop:
AAKG 1g: OK.
Betaine Anhydrous (TMG) 1g: I have heard that this is a good ingredient for creatine uptake. Methyl donor- increases SAM-E and therefore mood. Proven strength increases in a single study, appears to be fairly impressive, speculated to be a result of inhibiting cortisol and "increasing anabolic factors".
Creatine monohydrate: the tried and true.. But you have to load creatine. Right? Why not hydrochloride here?
Beta Alanine 666mg: Misspelled on the label as Beta Alaninie. Low but effective dose, tingly, enough to bump up carnosine. Alright.
L-Carnitine-L-Tartrate 333mg: Carnitine is good at nudging the body into using fat for energy and LCLT is one of the best chelates to do that. Good ingredient. Some more of it could be cool.
Taurine: 333mg: Alright. May help with those back pumps from your more powerful..supplements.
Caffeine 150mg: It’s caffeine. Not actually a boring drug pharmacologically..
Agmatine Sulfate 100mg: Woefully underdosed. Literally makes me a little sad. Agmatine is amazing.
Kudzu root extract 5mg: Ooh, ok! Let’s look it up… alcohol cessation? I believe from previous research this is a GABA antagonist and I’m guessing it’s here to “turn up the volume a bit.” Interested to see how that feels.
Maurus Alba 2mg: Provokes insulin response. I’m not sure that I want that directly before my workout- but that’s because I’m bulking.
Yohimbine HCl 1mg: MUST BE CONSUMED ON AN EMPTY STOMACH. I haven’t yet really gauged how Yohimbine makes me feel yet. Not a huge amount of it anyway here. Alpha 2 antagonist- increases norepinephrine. Indirectly activates beta receptors.. so, indirectly, the same mechanism as clen in a way.

My primary gripes are the not so effective creatine monohydrate and the underdosed agmatine. I took one scoop as an energy drink and I didn’t notice energy or much else interesting. Tasted great in with my Body Mortar. But, it does say take 2-3 scoops. We’ll see about how it feels in the gym at the right dose before and after I more than likely dump 25g of pure agmatine sulphate into it. Obvious tilt toward fat burning, this is a matter of your preference however.

aand 4-ad effervescent tabs. This is what I’m most excited about, obviously! This DHEA edit is less likely to turn into estrogen or act like it than DHEA and converts via 2 steps into testosterone. I am guessing this is going to be a rather mild anabolic all around due to the two step conversion. Seems like people like the stuff though- we’re going to have to see!


Day one, easy workout, been out of the gym for a week because of an irritated shoulder:

I haven’t had a day off in a while, so I woke up quite late and shortly after had an enormous turkey salad sandwich on sourdough, some strawberries, two cookies, and a couple glasses of soy milk. There goes about 1200+ calories and my appetite for a few hours.. 4ad comes in the mail, mix up some body mortar/Wycked, a serving of Bio-Gro, dose up my prohormone, and off to the gym for a full body workout.. Will be seguing into a bodybuilding 3 day split and increasing volume more so than weight once I push my strength forward a bit more but for now let’s see what my skinny ass can do..

90lb strict, slow lat pull from wide to narrow 3x8
30lb DB press, slow 3x8

50lb EZ curl…. 1x8?? every day is a new beginning, eh?
25lb weight vest A2G squats, 1 nauseating set of 30.

Protein shake and about half a pizza- see ya next time.

Not all too much to report at this time, hoping to put up some decent number for yall soon. Tons of water and food, put 5-15lbs on each of those lifts and added a bunch more accessory volume; stuff's to be expected when retraining from low weights again.. Was feeling a pretty good placebo yesterday, maybe a bit of real antidepressant type lift.
 
Significant strength gains- I think partially this is just getting my "beginner gains" again as I push on up to BW bench press, etc, but I can tell that some anabolic effect is taking place because the scale is up 2lb yet my abs are slightly more cut. Endurance is up, too. Keeping at it with plenty of water and calories.. Hoping to see 8-12lb gain by the end of PCT.
 
Still only moderate suppression, libido is slightly down.. (?)

163.4 lbs= 3.6lb weight gain, not seeing it as a lot of fat gain but I'm gonna hunt down some calipers soon so i can actually know for sure.

Strength is drastically shooting upward- doing working sets with the big boy plates/50lb dumbbells on flat bench. I tried to do a barbell back squat, really did.. but my body really just does not like doing those, still. DL 5rm is now 175lb.

Feeling quite good overall...
 
Highly regret to say that I had a serious flare up of health issues and this became a test of anti catabolic effects.. It's doing its job.
