Southpaw gets Xtreme(* New Activate Xtreme Log)

12/16- Shoulders/Triceps

Worked shoulders and triceps. Routine is as follows;

Dumbbell raises 4 sets starting at 20 reps (pyramid to failure)
Lateral Raises 4 set at 20 reps (pyramid to failure)
Front Raises using plates 4 sets at 15 reps per set until failure
Shrugs 6 sets at 20 reps per set until failure
Shoulder Traps 4 sets at 20 reps per set

Triceps

Dips 4 sets at 20 reps per set until failure
Tricep machine 4 sets at 20 reps per set until failure
Overhead Ropes at 4 sets 20 reps per set until failure

Notes: Aggression was highly noticeable. I attacked each exercise with a high level of aggression tonight even though I was tired from a long day, but tonight was definitely a quality workout nevertheless. My strength is up and noticing better recovery.

12/17/2010 - Legs

Worked legs with same routine as outlined above in prior post. I've noted this before, however, I think it bears repeating as the aggression component is incredible. You focus on nothing but attacking those weights/exercises with everything you have and I'm starting to see a lot more vascularity. Other members of my gym have begun to comment on my size, as they seem to feel as if I'm getting a lot bigger, although this is a lot harder for me to gauge personally since I perform so much cardio and remain leaner than I'd like to be.

12/18/2010 - Cardio

Today felt incredibly easy with respect to my fasted HIIT session. I'm not sure how free test impacts aerobic activity, so perhaps a rep can chime in. Aggression is present once again and libido is hit and miss depending on the day/workload.

I hear ya' on the diet and your post's show your commitment to improvement.

Add in the right supplement's that compliments those 2 and the results tell the story.

Keep up the hard work...

Thanks brother I appreciate the kind words. Enjoy the weekend.

Can totally related to this.

12/19 - 12/20

12/19 - Cardio (fasted)

General thoughts:

Libido 9/10
Mood 10/10
Strength 10/10

I feel strong, happy and motivated. Started to see some mild acne on back, which is a sign of elevated test. I believe that I'm beginning to add more size as well. I haven't taken measurements just yet, but overall I look bigger and muscles appear fuller. Also receiving comments from other members at my gym indicating that they also feel as if I'm putting on more muscle mass.

12/20 (Morning Cardio-Fasted & tonight Chest/Triceps)

Notes: Same as yesterday.
Tonight is chest/triceps and I'll update routine accordingly.

12/20- Chest/Triceps

Chest Routine:

100 pushups off stability ball
Incline Dumbbells off stability ball at 4 sets x 15 reps per set
Dumbbell Flies off stability ball at 4 sets x 20 reps per set until failure
Cables for lower chest at 5 sets x 20 reps per set until failure
Finished off with triangle pushups until failure

Triceps:

Dips off bench using stability ball for a total rep count of 25 at 3 sets each
Triangle Pulldowns at 4 sets in pyramid fashion over 4 sets until failure
Rope overhead pulls at 3 sets x 15 reps per set

This evening's workout felt great. My mood/motivation and aggression all came together. Since the addition of AX into my routine I have added about 4lbs. I'm getting comments in the gym regularly now, asking me if I'm on something or what I'm doing in order to achieve these results. My diet hasn't changed since the inclusion of AX, which is the only variable I can point to. I'm lifting 5-10lbs over my max limit since late last week, as I'm feeling very strong and looking very vascular. I wanted to put pics up but I have a crappy 2mp camera on my phone, and working out at a YMCA and asking someone to take pictures/vids ups your creep factor I think, but I'll work on getting some progress photos up as I really feel I'm starting to change my body comp. I'm very excited with the results so far, as I have 2 more weeks to look forward to.

Sounds like AX is working pretty good for you bro. Overall you think its a good product?
Yes I do. I believe in the science of the product, rather than the hype of many other products in the category. That opinion is only strengthened by the fact that the same company makes what I've described as the best supplement that I've ever used and that is Triazole. With that one product they've earned my trust and business.

12/22 - Back

I'm visiting NY until Monday (Christmas with the folks) so my routine may vary depending on my schedule. I hate working out while in vacations, it's such a pain in the butt. I managed to get in some pull-ups both wide and narrow, using different grips. This totally sucks but my parents saw me and remarked that I looked leaner in terms of body fat, but that I look bigger in terms of muscle mass.

Libido was rocking today.
Aggression/Motivation all very high today as well.

Tomorrow will be a cardio day/arms day - depending on weather and how much banana bread I consume in the next 30 minutes. =)

So you're bigger and leaner and that "totally sucks" how exactly? lol.
I realized how idiotic that sounded after I wrote it lol. But I was so tired from my flight (delayed 2 hours) that I said heck with it and went to bed. I think what I meant to convey was that working out while on vacation "sucks". You have to improvise and it takes you out of your element regarding training/diet and scheduling. On that note Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas...Happy Kwanzaa and Happy Festivus! I'll update this log Tuesday, as I'm stuck up north in freezing weather and getting to the gym as have proven futile. Hope everyone is having a safe and happy holiday.

Hey southpaw good log so far, keep it up. I wanted to ask about effects on cardio. I have taken supps in the past that have totally destroyed my cardio. I am looking primarily for good strength gains and something to help me keep my bodyweight up. I have a pretty intense cardio schedule and don't want to keep dropping size and strength. What are you doing for cardio?

Thanks Fugops. I've actually finished my bottle of AX and relative to your question, I can tell you with 100% assurance that AX does not negatively affect your cardio capacity. I'm actually training for a 5k obstacle course so I tend to also keep a close eye on my routine, diet and supplementation. If anything you'll notice increased strength, aggression and a rise in libido. Already into my last week on AX, my strength has shot way up. I broke PR's on all my exercises, have even leaned out a bit while putting on some additional muscle mass. I believe 3-4lbs roughly (week and a half stuck in NY weather--diet was terrible). AX is a very effective natty booster, prior to that I ran Triazole for about 8 weeks which is the best supplement I've ever used. Combine the two and you might be on to something "special". Hopefully I was able to answer your question and alleviate those concerns.

Southpaw thank you for the response. That is good news for me. I recently ordered a bottle of Triazole and AX. I will see how the first couple of weeks go and if I am seeing the results many of you gentlemen running logs are, I will be ordering more to stretch out the stack. Thanks again. Keep it up.

Sorry to hear that. All the best for 2011!
So the last week and a half was a complete dud, as I was trapped in NY weather (spent Christmas with family) and didn't get to workout the way I intended to. My diet was piss poor as I had to improvise, since being snowed in lent itself to eating potato chips as comfort food lol. I got back to warmer weather Friday and only ran throughout the weekend. AX has come to an end as I dosed my final caps tonight.

Here is my review and overall thoughts on the product:

AX really began to show its true colors around my third week of use. I noticed that I felt much stronger than usual, and was proven right as tonight I set PR's on all exercises in my routine, even with a crappy week behind me and piss poor diet. I was strong throughout. I've put on an additional 3-4lbs of muscle mass in about a month's time. This is a very effective natty booster and coupled with Triazole, this stack is a pure grand slam.

Body Composition: 9/10

My diet was inconsistent, yet I still managed to put on additional mass with little fat gain.

Strength: 10/10

As I stated above strength shot way up around the third week. I can only imagine how well I would have performed in my routine, if not for the improvisational workouts I was forced to work in - due to bad weather.

Aggression: 9/10

The majority of the time I was on AX I felt irritable, but only in the gym. I wanted to attack each routine with everything I had, almost like gearing up for a boxing match. I was that keyed in. I felt that AX vastly improved my outlook with respect to my routine, which was starting to get more difficult and would normally leave me feeling less motivated. With AX motivation/aggression was always present.

Summary: AX is the only natty booster that I've ever used, having previously used Triazole. I can say with 100% confidence that this stack would be perfect for anyone at any level, and you will see results that are measurable. I'd like to thank DS and everyone over there including Robboe and Matt for the opportunity to try AX. Everything these guys put it out is pure quality, and you don't have to worry about what's in it, or lack thereof. Awesome products by a great company. Thanks again!

Nice log and review and reps for sticking with it until the end even though you had to give up the training for a week and a half.

Any before and after numbers on your strength increases?

Any before and after numbers on your strength increases?
Unfortunately no BD. At least not that I document. My trainer does that for me, as he designs my program. It's more of a conditioning program than a classic body building routine. I let him track numbers and I simply go by how I feel, it works for me.

I initially wanted to take pics/vids; however, I think it would have been an issue with the people there at the gym for whatever reason(s). I work out alone as well, which means I'd have to ask someone to take pics/vids. I'll try to include pics/vids in my next log as I know a lot of people feel it's necessary in order to validate logs. I'll be starting up another log tonight using another stack, so I'd appreciate the support in that log as well.

Nice final review
Your commitment was evident during the log, kudos for that, and I think that strength gain is one of the key components of this product.

I feel the same way about DS, good solid product line.

Hook thanks for supporting the log, it is very much appreciated.
