some questions about vitamin B6 (P-5-P)

Hi guys,

I’d like to supplement P-5-P, since I’ve read it could help with brain fog, focus, overall energy and motivation, by boosting dopamine production.
According to some theories, it should also help with premature ejaculation, by reducing prolactin - do you have any experience with this?

I know that B6 (therefore I think also P5P) overdose is a real risk and it can cause neuropathy.

I managed to find only supplements with 50mg, not less. Is it a too high dose to take everyday? I’m going to take it with magnesium malate.

Is it necessary to take other B vitamins as well? Recently I’ve bought also sulbutiamine so I was planning to take both.

Thanks!

For what you’re looking for, I’d probably opt for L-Tyrosine or L-Dopa. Definitely needs to be cycled.

Regarding P5P, less than 50mg is available. I’d probably go for Jarrow B-Right and get a comprehensive bioavailable B-complex. Think it’s 10mg P5P.

thanks man. Do you think I can take both the B complex and sulbutiamine without problems?

thanks man, so I desume 50mg P5P long term are safe, correct?
Can I take both inhibit-p (or P5P 50mg) and sulbutiamine?

i don't feel comfortable telling you long term use of 50mg p5p is safe...the longest i have ever ran inhibit-p was 2 months...as far as p5p and sulbutiamine i honestly don't know.

Have you looked more into the cause of the issue. It could have more serious implications than and vitamin can handle. Just a thought?
