One more part of the recipe: I've seen anything from 10 mg/ml to 50 mg/ml back on bodybuilding.com. What are the advantages and disadvantages of the high and low ends of that scale?
 
The low end of the scale will give you better penetrtation. Surface area is a factor in penetration. The bigger the surface area that you can put the ph on the better the penetration. Hope that helps. Talk to ya......

PS. Keep in mind that we don't know exactly how much it affects it but we know that it does. Any percent that we can get out of it the better right..... Talk to ya
 
One other factor to weigh in this is the fact that most brews will have DMSO in them. In these, the concentration will not affect absorption as much since the DMSO will get it through no matter how much or little is aplied.

The coorelation between concentration and absorption was derived from relatively passive PE's (IPM, PG, d-limonen, etc) that relied upon the concentration gradient to diffuse the PH's. DMSO doesn't care about gradients...it grabs the PH by the back of the neck and says, "YOU'RE COMING WITH ME" ;)

Thanks for the information and educated opinions. All I could find/afford for my current attempt is everclear, PG, and emu oil, so I guess I'll go as low as I can for my 2-week cycle and still fit it all in the spray bottle. It should be around 30 mg/ml.

And next time I'll try to get all the ingredients in the magic formula posted there.

Don't short yourself...get some DMSO to go in there too. You can find it at most local health food stores for cheap...

Hm... Well, there's truly not much around here, but I'll take a look at vitamin world and GNC, I guess. If I can find it, what would good ratios be for my ingredients?
 
Is there a standard ml amount per spray? Will different spray
bottles have different ml amounts per spray? Thanks for all

Depends pn the sprayer. You will have to spray into a shringe to get 10mls. Divide the number of sprays by 10 and you have sprays/ml.Then since you know the mg/ml you know everything you need. Very simple.. Hope that helps.. Talk to ya
 
I tried spraying into a teaspoon measure and dividing by five--not as accurate, I'm sure, since I lost some mist around the edges, but easier to find than a syringe.
I couldn't find any DMSO at the local shops. I'll order some from the supplier mentioned for next time, though, or just get some of the BDC premix. You do have some good prices here, I remember thinking I was getting a good deal back when I got my 20g of 1-test from Kilosports for $110.

Try this:
  • Remove the plunger from the barrel and turn upside down (needle point facing down).
  • Use your finger to plug the needle opening and spray 10 times into the open barrel.
  • Place the plunger back in *SLIGHLTY* (too much or the pressure will force some out) --> push it in far enough to keep the DMSO from leaking out when you turn it back over.
  • With the needle point now up and the plunger back in the barrel slowly push it in until the DMSO reaches the needle opening.
  • Read the volume and divide this by 10.
  • For instance, if you had 15 mL in the syringe from 10 sprays --> 15 mL / 10 sprays = 1.5 mL per spray.
