Interesting discourse. So I guess it comes down to does Epicatechin impact COX-2. Does it? If it doesn’t do you know anything that does specifically? Or was that why you mentioned Omega-3s?

Nah, we rarely get inquiries from UK companies. We send them a sales email when the product comes out or is in transit, but they rarely inquire with us beforehand; and rarely buy much on the first orders. Which that is okay, I'm glad to work with resellers no matter how much or little they buy, it just a lot of times leads to first time orders on new releases selling out very quickly for them.

I’ll ask Powermyself if they are getting it in? What’s the name going to be specifically? Also I know it’s a formulation and you don’t pick the prices that resellers pick. If you can, can you give some sort of idea at wholesale what it will be similar price (as usually that will reflect on the retail price somewhat). Like Anabolic Effect/Optimize T type price or ?

The name of the product will be Phosphatidic Acid XT.
I'm sorry but I can't say a specific sales price yet. I never put an exact price on things until after production is complete bc there are too many variables on if things can change or not. If I had to guess, I'd say it will sell to the public here in the US for around 49.99 on average, maybe a little less during sale times.

In regards, as long as it’s not priced like EPi-Plex has been i will be happy as AE, Optimize-T are expensive, but I understand with the clinical patented trademarked ingredients. Forgot about Anabolic XT, is that stackable or will there be overlap with the Mediator product? Is that on schedule, if so what the estimated ETA for that?

I'm sorry, but if you think Epi-Plex is expensive for what it is, I think you might not know how much real Epicatechin products cost to make. Real Epicatechin is expensive and that's why you see a lot of brands only using 200 to 300 mg. per daily dose in products, whereas Epicatechin has 300 mg. per capsule.
Epi-Plex contains:
- 300 mg. Epicatechin per capsule + 20 mg. Piperine (Bioperine)
- 18,000 mg. (18 grams) Epicatechin per bottle
I just did a quick search and found Epi-Plex for less than 30.00 per unit.
If you're by any chance referring to UK prices as was mentioned in another thread, I have no idea why the UK retailers are marking the product up the way that they are; but that is not representative of our markup and our pricing. UK/EU resellers get the same or better pricing than their US counterparts, so even with a tariff and shipping cost averaged per unit, it shouldn't be but so much higher.
Anabolic XT should be released around the same time as Phosphatidic Acid XT and it will be stackable with Phosphatidic Acid XT or pretty much any other SNS or CEL products.

Yeah I’ve never imported supplements to the UK and don’t plan on it, we have many good retailers here (like you know well and deal with). Wasn’t a jibe just and well aware of what’s in Epi-Plex, looks a great product and I’ve honestly never used it, but it’s abit out of my price range... like we’ve discussed earlier. Might point was a positive (apologies if it’s been misconstrued). If the mediator product is a similar price to the aforementioned products (AE/Optimize-T, around $70 each), I don’t mind paying it for a clinical trademarked patented ingredient, proven to build muscle in double blind placebo (Mediator). If that makes sense at all mate. People pay a lot of money for supplements, and there aren’t many as validated as PA Mediator, thus if it’s the same price as say Vector (no idea if it’s good or bad, but it’s north of $70 here in UK) I would happily pay as I’m getting a highly regarded; patented clinical muscle builder!!! If that makes sense
?I converted currency to give guys reading this an idea, of the pricing we get here in the UK for good sports supplements.

I don't think he realized that you're overseas and that the price is that ridiculously marked up by the retailer that you're referring to.
The price here in the US is less than 40.00 and less than 30.00 at some retailers.
So in context, Epi-Plex is almost half the price of some brands that don't contain even half the dose. I think that's where he was a bit confused by what you were saying.
I could see how it could have come off as a negative jab at the product or brand, but I realize that you didn't mean it that way. Thank you for clarifying though, I really do appreciate that.

I never try to encourage or discourage anyone to buy from the US and import to the UK/EU. It works great for some people, but then occasionally you have that person or case where a product is seized by customs or something. My only wish on it is that we had more UK/EU retailers to work with and that the existing ones would be more fair with their pricing, like in the case of Epi-Plex that we're discussing here and had discussed in another thread I believe.
I understand it wasn't a jab, but appreciate you clarifying. It could have been taken that way, but I knew that wasn't how you meant it. And when I reply to things like that the way I did, just keep in mind I'm replying to try to put it in context for people that may be reading and not posting or even reading down the road. I just didn't want anyone to read your post and dismiss using Epi-Plex thinking it was too expensive, when its pretty reasonably priced here.
I'm not sure what Phosphatidic Acid XT will sell for there honestly. Because for example, you're saying that Epi-Plex costs pretty much the same as Anabolic Effect and Optimize-T there I believe or more; but retailers do pay less for Epi-Plex than either of those two, so that's why the markup doesn't make sense to me on it in the case we're discussing.
In USD, the price will fall probably around 49.99'ish. If it turns out to be too high there, we can pm and figure something out. I appreciate your enthusiasm and want you to be able to try it at a reasonable price.

Some brands go down in the serving sizes to try to cut the selling price and increase margins. I understand why they do it; just in our case, I felt it was important to try to give a full month supply.

I've only been using PA only on work out days, 1 hour prior to work out. What's the benefit of using daily? I'm certainly not opposed to doing so especially if there is a good reason, I just want to understand why I'd be making the switch if I did; and when it comes to supps, I trust your recommendations when it comes to dosage more than most.

The same reason I take it on workout days is the reason I take it on off days. Increased mtor-> increased MPS= increased recovery and growth on recuperation days. If there was some kind of negative feedback loop I could see training days only or if there was a side effect we were trying to mitigate but neither of those things is happening with PA.
This reasoning goes for almost all ergogenics: Ask yourself, "Why am I taking this on training days?" Then ask yourself, "Why would I not want this effect on off days?" Most of the time you will IMO.

I do believe that you can benefit greatly for daily use and i believe thats how it should be used .. not to say you can extend the bottle longer by using only on workout days .. but i dont think there was ever 30 day supply made before so pple were kinda forced to do so

In phase one, soy-phosphatidylserine, soy-Lyso-PA, egg-PA, and soy-PA stimulated mTOR signaling, and the effects of soy-PA (+636%) were significantly greater than egg-PA (+221%). In phase two, PA significantly increased lean body mass (+2.4 kg), cross sectional area (+1.0 cm), and leg press strength (+51.9 kg) over placebo.
Conclusion
PA significantly activates mTOR and significantly improved responses in skeletal muscle hypertrophy, lean body mass, and maximal strength to resistance exercise.

The studies on Phosphatidic Acid that I've seen have been based on daily use. So the clinical studies and science support daily use from what I've seen, which makes sense based on the way it works bc for best results, I think its important to keep consistent levels built up in your system.
Phosphatidic Acid works through a couple of pathways, but primarily through increasing anabolic pathways such as mTor and increased protein synthesis. By using it only on workout days, in my opinion you shortchange yourself on your recovery days. And a lot of the actual muscle growth that occurs in the body takes place not on the workout days, but the recovery days.
I could actually make a stronger argument for front loading it than I could for using it only on workout days.
If you want to do it the way you're doing to save some money, and we're just theorizing here bc there's no supportive evidence, but it might be viable to do 1500 mg. per day/750 mg. active for a month and then do only half that dose on workout days. I hope that makes sense.
When we release Phosphatidic Acid XT, I'll go more into the dosages and different ways I think it can be used best based on results and cost effectiveness.

Thanks for the speedy and thorough response. I've been using the BT micro-PA, which is labelled at 1000 mg PA for 4 caps (which is what I've been using). I only did it on work out days because of the BT recommended dosage. Based on this thread I'll switch it up to daily (saving money is secondary to whatever gains I can get from the supps I'm taking).
I really appreciate all of the time you guys each take to discuss this stuff and make recommendations. Being natty, I'm looking for everything I can get out of my supps as long as my natural T level stays elevated in the ranges my labs are returning. Maybe someday if/when those numbers drop significantly enough I'll consider gear... but for me this just proves there's a ton of value at this forum (even without gear) and I'm thankful to be able to read, ask dumb questions, and learn so much!

I really don't like discussing other companies products but the only clinical studies I've seen on Phosphatidic Acid have been done on ChemiNutra's Mediator Phosphatidic Acid. There is more to this but I feel like its not my place to post it publicly.
In regards to your last paragraph, I love to help people and enjoy answering questions. To me, there are no dumb questions. And that's something I try to encourage of others. I've seen cases on here so many times where people will ask beginner or simple questions and people will take more time to disparage them over it rather than just answer them or just ignore it if they don't want to answer. All of our knowledge on any subject always starts somewhere

I would be interested in trying it. My only experience was with lecithin granules, didn't see much, but I wasn't consistent at all with it, they were disgusting IMO. Mediator has always been $$$ for me, if this is a reasonable priced product, I'll give it a shot.

Making a legit Mediator Phosphatidic Acid product is expensive to make so it won't be a cheap product, but we're going to take a super low percentage margin on our end on it to try to make it as cost effective as possible for everyone to use it.
Each bottle of Phosphatidic Acid XT will be 120 Veg Caps containing 30 servings with each serving providing 1500 mg. Mediator 50P supplying 750 mg. actual Phosphatidic Acid + a couple of other ingredients. The price I expect it to be available to consumers for will be around the price that some brands charge for literally half the dosage.

Checking everyday on here for Phosphatidic Acid XT.Can’t wait ! I remember using Olympus Labs Tr1umph and it was literally like using Creatine or Xgels for the first time. It was absolutely amazing. The muscle fullness was incredible.
You shouldn't have to wait much longer. My best guess is by mid-Feb. I had originally hoped to have it out in January but we've really had to make some production adjustments trying to get and keep existing products back in stock.

And there's especially a lot more that goes into new products for companies like us that already have 70+ product across multiple brands.
The biggest reason I used to NEVER give ETA's and that I still don't like to give ETA's is bc things can change.
When I give an ETA for a product, its always correct to the best of my knowledge.

But I can't say that for 100% certainty bc I'm not going to lie and say that if we haven't gotten in some of the other out of stocks that are great sellers that we wouldn't bump that in front of it. Bc from a business standpoint, it really makes retailers mad when we launch new things when out of a lot of existing products.
I appreciate everyone's understanding on this. I'm really doing the best I can. I'm working 70+ hours a week trying to make things happen and I still try my best to be active here and help people and keep everyone updated the best I can.

- Raw material shortages - especially with specialty or branded ingredients. Branded ingredients have a lot of advantages but one disadvantage is that when the patent holder is out of material, there's no where else to get it from.
- Capsule shortages - yes, this does happen. Especially with colored capsules. Which btw we're changing everything possible over to Veggie capsules as we run out of labels for the gelatin ones and there aren't color options in Veggie capsules, only clear and white.
- Bottle shortages - labels are printed to fit specific bottles. Sometimes they will fit a size close, sometimes they won't. So if for example a label is made to fit a certain size, especially a specialty size, and they're out of stock, you're screwed. And it may be a case where they're supposed to be back in stock in a month or 6 weeks and you have thousands of dollars tied up in labels, it may be a better business decision to wait.
- Prioritizing existing sellers - and this is a big one that affects things for us. The goal of any company is growth - we want to grow, sell more products, be more profitable, etc. New products are fun and exciting but they are really made possible by sales on existing products. So its important to prioritize making sure we have stocks on existing good sellers and sometimes tis means bumping them ahead of new releases.
