Yeah I'm just wondering, it says 4 capsules, since everything is quite well dosed but I'm tempted to go 5 capsules just to see if I get a bit more of a test boost, just wondering anyone else did this or stuck to recommended dosage?
 
It's well dosed as it if. I'd rather extend the run than shorten it that way. If you want more, add MTest, Prototest, Clomaplex, etc.
 
Agreed. M-Test+Optimize-T is a winner. Im currently doing this myself.

I recently did M-Test+Optimize-T+Clomaplex. Expensive but felt incredible

I love the combination of Optimize-T and M-Test myself, so that is the way I would go versus upping the dose on Optimize-T. If you don't want to do that though, you could consider adding a capsule of ProtoTest XT to it.

Is the dose of 1000mg of tongkat Ali a day in test fix safe? I know it’s unrelated to the products in this thread but I just saw it and thought it must’ve been labelled wrong, that seems like a very high dose.

Yes, the dosage in Test Fix is perfectly safe - the dosage is determined by the extract used and in the Test Fix section below, I will explain in more detail why we chose the particular extract and the dosage we use in it.

I've explained this in more detail about herbs a lot of times and about Tongkat Ali a few times, but the search function on here hates me so here's an overview:
  • There are different ways that herbs can be standardized, including Tongkat Ali.
  • There can be non-specified extract, ratio extracts, and extracts for a specific constituent - and the dosage can vary based on the type of extract.
The type of extract used in a particular formula can vary based on several key factors including other ingredients used, the desired selling price (bc ingredient cost factors into this), and customer base and the desired dosage that a particular customer base may want to see.

Optimize-T & Tongkat Ali XT & Alpha Gel:
These products all use the same extract - the specialized Bionutricia extract, which is a specialized extract that contains a minimum of 2% Eurycomanone and as high as 3% Eurycomanone and each batch of raw materials is tested by the Forest Research Institute of Malaysia (FRIM) to ensure the levels of several key active ingredients, primarily the Eurycomanone of the extract.

At these strengths, standardized Tongkat Ali can be used as a natural testosterone booster and libido enhancer with high dosages also being used as a PDE5 inhibitor to support improved erection quality.

In addition to its high Eurycomanone percentage, Bionutricia® Tongkat Ali extract also contains 30 – 38% Glycosaponins, 28 – 32% Polysaccharides, and 18 – 24% Protein – a truly fully disclosed extract.

Also, Bionutricia® Tongkat Ali extract is extracted using ultrasonic hot water extraction to obtain the water-soluble active ingredients (Eurycomanone, polysaccharides, protein, Glycosaponins) and doesn’t use any harsh solvents or chemicals that some brands use in order to try to achieve higher extract ratios while cutting costs.

M-Test:
When we first introduced M-Test, there was a lot of extreme price fluctuations with Eurycoma/Tongkat products. We had tried out several and we found one that we really liked and worked great in the product. We didn't specify the % extract on the labels for two reasons - we didn't want to make it easier for anyone to copy it and also because the extreme price volatility on it at the time. It's important to put in context that at the time, pretty much no one specified active Eurycomanone content and very very few even specified what ratio extract they used. The thing that people were looking for back then was to see a 500 mg. dose so what we did is that we used what we felt was the absolute best Tongkat Ali extract that we could provide 500 mg. of in the product and have the product sell at a reasonable price.

Fast forward to today's market - M-Test is a great selling product with great feedback and so many people love it that we don't want to make any changes to it. In the general consumer market, if people like something and use it regularly, they are normally very skeptical of any types of changes - which is why we aren't more specific now with the type of extract we use bc if we change the wording to be more specific, we're scared that people will think we changed something about the product.

Test Fix:
I'll explain this and also give some insight into how decision making works sometimes with selecting certain types of ingredients for particular products.

As many people know, Tongkat Ali and Fadogia both became extremely popular when they were mentioned on a particular podcast. This led to a lot of companies that people had never heard of popping up and selling absolute garbage quality Tongkat Ali products and trying to make a quick buck - which absolutely sucks for consumers.

We wanted to do a top quality product with both of these ingredients in there for people that wanted to try them. Of course there was M-Test, but some people in that customer base wanted a simpler product that was primarily based around those two ingredients.

We did consider using the extract that's in Optimize-T in Test Fix, but there were a couple of reasons that we didn't. The main reason is that a lot of the people that were wanting to try Tongkat Ali because of the popularity of it either didn't know anything about it at all and didn't know anything about different types of extracts or they were looking for a 200:1 extract and looking to use 500 mg. once to twice per day. Hence using a 200:1 extract at 500 mg. once to twice per day in Test Fix.

In formulating the product to meet the above criteria, the extract in Optimize-T wasn't a good candidate because at 1,000 mg. per day, this extract would be way too strong. So what we did was that we used a 200:1 extract like some were looking for and we used what we feel is the absolute best one that we could that would still allow for the dosing that people were looking for.

I hope this helps explain the differences and why we use the forms and the dosages that we do in the respective products.

There are companies on here that claim to sell ingredients that don't even exist at the percentages that they claim them to and no one questions it, there are companies that sell drugs and call them supplements and hardly anyone questions it, and you want to imply that we are the ones selling something unsafe?

I’m sorry bro, this has happened a few times where I have accidentally seemed like I implied something else when I didn’t mean it that way. I have told you this before but I have high functioning autism and sometimes have trouble with insinuations and things like that. I was under the understanding that they were the same extracts of tongkat Ali in all the products you sell other than the mtest one since you told me before it’s not the same for mtest. Please in the future, don’t take offense to anything I say because I don’t mean anything bad to you.

I did not mean to say or imply that the dose was unsafe, I was legitimately curious.

I dont agree with supplement companies selling drugs either. I thought about speaking up about it but everyone seems pretty dead set that they are safe for some reason. There’s some drugs sold on here that have zero human data.

I normally don't think anything if posts from you come off a certain way, because as I think you know, my daughter has high functioning Autism and can be the same way. And plus, I like you and consider you to be a very good hearted person from what I know of you.

I went ahead and edited my post. I'm not upset at you, I was more surprised that you posted that the way that you did. I didn't mind at all you asking about the different extracts used - I've detailed them several times and glad to explain them, as I think it helps people understand the differences and may also provide a glimpse into the formulation side of things for people that are interested.

I just hope you see my side - questioning the dose was fine, I was glad to explain. It was the part where you said that you thought it must have been labeled wrong that seemed like an accusation - and from my side, I can tell you of at least two different times in the last year that I've thrown out over 500.00 worth of labels over catching a typo on them after they were printed.

That's actually the reason Energized Aminos is delayed right now - I've got thousands of dollars tied up in the product but there was something that was left off the label and something most companies wouldn't have worried about, but we're having labels redone and the product is done and just waiting on labels bc of it.

And yeah, I don't judge anyone for what they take themselves and if companies are honest and identify things they're selling as drugs then whatever, its personal choice. But what does bother me is that I think that people have the right to know what they are putting in their body and that things that are drugs, peptides, research chemicals or whatever you want to call them should be identified as such and not presented and sold as supplements. I'm not worried about the bodybuilder that knows what they are choosing to take them - I'm worried about the college student failing their drug test and losing a scholarship over what they think is a supplement or the middle aged general fitness male with heart problems messing himself up bc he thinks he's taking a regular supplement and doesn't realize he's taking a drug.

I told someone the other week - it's wild to me to see some brands claim to sell ingredients that don't even exist at the percentages that they claim, to see brands that are capping and bottling things themselves with zero quality control and oversight, and to see brands sell drugs and represent them as supplements - and then here we are FDA registered and fully cGMP and meeting or exceeding all testing requirements and getting nit picked over little stuff like white instead of clear capsules or someone on paleo complaining about a couple mg. of rice flour being the excipient/flow agent. It's just a crazy double standard a lot of times.

Cliff notes:
  • M-Test - we used the ideal form available at the time we launched the product and people love the product and we don't want to make any changes to it bc it works so well.
  • Optimize-T - uses the Bionutricia extract which is a great and strong extract, but some general health customers don't realize that because they look at total dosage rather than know about the importance of constituents.
  • Test Fix - explained in more detail above in the long post, but the form used is the ratio extract and dosage that got very popularr and led to us making Test Fix.

No, not at all.

Think about it like this:
  • Tongkat Ali XT contains 300 mg. of Bionutricia Tongkat per capsule and you can take 2 caps per day.
  • Optimize-T contains 300 mg. of Bionutricia Tongkat per capsule, equivalent to 1 cap of Tongkat Ali XT.
  • M-Test contains the form that has always been used in M-Test and people love it, so we didn't want to change anything about it - but using M-Test + Optimize-T, the Tongkat contents wouldn't be more than taking 2 of the Tongkat Ali XT per day.
I hope that makes sense.

M-Test and Optimize-T is by far our most popular test boosting stack, especially with general health consumers that use things like this year round. I use that combo year round myself.

Optimize-T or Cloma-Plex are both great natural testosterone boosting options that don't include it.

The reasons that we included KSM-66 in Test Fix are:

The formula and labels are done, so its ready to move forward soon.

The tariff situation when everything went up so high for awhile there really caused a lot of issues in the industry and contract manufacturers got behind and it caused a lot of out of stocks, especially on things that aren't just very basic commodity raw materials. Everyone is getting caught up as quickly as possible now.

From our end, Libido Boost XT is ready to go into process but we have to prioritize getting some of the things that we ran out of stock of back in stock first.

FDA registration and full cGMP are 2 of the many reasons that SNS and CEL are my favorite and most trusted brands.

Plus, Steve is an absolute stand-up guy.
