Smith_69's log of Chuck Diesel's Dieselade

Ok plan is 1 scoop dieselade prior about 15 to 20 mins . 1 scoop after workout immediately. Some fast carbs intra and or donuts seem to be a hit at my gym ...

done

smiths log- star date 2.2.16. 137- yea whatever its Tuesday

I wanted to do what hulk suggested to bring on the doms. there was only one issue with this, too many people at the gym today- Friday is probably the best day, but with having to do drop sets with db and there are 10 other people in the area near the racks- some still trying to keep that new years res going, some have no clue while staring aimlessly at db rack. so, plan b- lets hit shoulders- lets burn them bad-

1 scoop of dieselade 30 min before
1 scoop during the workout- remembering to conserve this, drinking it like its johnny walker blue

smith on the smith machine - after stretching and a few warm up sets- ps 15 lbs was added to each wgt to account for the weighted pulley in the smith, no cheating
15x 95
12x 135
10x 185
8 x 205
6 x 225
3 x 235

back down to 185 for 10 reps 3 sets with seated db shrugs 10 x 75- 1.30 rest time

closer grip military press and 3 sets 135 x 10 with 1 arm barbell shrugs 10 x 155- superset
45 ' degree bent db flies 3 sets of 10 x35- superset with behind the back shoulder shrugs 250 x 10
db front raises 3 x 10 35 lbs - 1 arm at a time

and finished up with upright rows- 95 lbs 6-10 reps - slow reps- I don't do these normally as the pressure on the inside shoulder joint - but today wasn't too bad.

db wrist curls 3 x 10 -65 lbs with throttle curls 8-10 20lb db

could not get a bench or cable row machine to do straight bar forearm curls. this took almost an hour to do and had to get back to work no time for calves or abs.

energized the whole time, not a caffeine jittery energy in no means at all. just felt good and energized. for me, the bcaa's are working. as for the hunger question- I just ate a piece of chicken with some frozen veg- ho ho ho, green giant- will be eating again in another hour or 2. im not starving but im not full. I could eat and it wouldn't be considered a forced meal.

one interesting note- DL-Phenylalanine has good effects on mood, energy levels and motivation.Ok, well if your energy levels are spiking you may need to increase your intake of cals. fair enough

on the other hand -BCAA effects on hunger, cravings and energy come from the ability of these aminos to generate the gluconeogenic precursors glutamine and alanine. This has a balancing effect on blood sugar. Both AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) and mTOR signaling have hunger suppressing effects in the hypothalamus. Leucine has been shown to adjust both signaling systems and reduce food intake.

hmm, so leucine - you bastard - moving on

The blood sugar balancing activity of BCAA would likely have an impact on decreasing cravings, but stress hormones may be involved as well. Excessive exercise and the stress of dieting may raise stress hormones. The stress hormone cortisol has been implicated in brain chemistry changes that induce cravings specifically for highly palatable foods (salt, sugar, starch, fat). BCAA supplementation lowers the cortisol elevation often seen with intense and prolonged exercise.
Elevated Cortisol is bad- as we can see by the above, BCAA supplementation lowers the cortisol elevation.

Don't even think about asking if it Bromelain. ITS NOT

so what could possible cause the spike in hunger? Answer: YOU- Correct me if I am wrong, but everything in Dieselade is there for good reasons, to improve focus, elevate energy and mood. As well as diminish hunger cravings. Its the BCAA's that's what they do. If you are pushing yourself to the limit and zoned in, you could possibly be burning more cal's. Maybe past the point or exceeding the limit of the BCAA potential for hunger control, thus inducing hunger.

Face it, we aren't taking this as mass bulking agent- the all new Dieselade V 2.2.16- 15,000 cals- eat it and gain lol

end of the day, this works- that's all that matters- if you get hungry after, then go eat- if not, then I don't know go for a walk

till tomorrow

^^^ this is very good info. I don't think people will understand what you are getting at, but just to let everyone know; myself and others
have been trying to figure out why we get so hungry on DIESELADE. For me its not as bad anymore, but I swear if I haven't ate in 3 hours,
2 sips and I'm starving, so much so I have to keep rice crispy treats in my truck. The only other thing that made me that hungry was when
DIESEL TEST Hardcore 80tabs first came out.

My honest guess is the BCAAs are much higher than doses in "studies" and the large influx of them makes you jack up protein synthesis.
I don't crave carbs on DIESELADE, but mixing waizy maize in it, like 5g helps me a little.

Also I do have a problem with hunger. I think I should eat more. Also protein has always increased insulin sensitivity, thats a know fact so maybe the BCAAs themselves do that, but then again I dont get a light headed blood sugar drop feeling.

Idk. Its all natural, taste good and give me endurance.

yes, the bottom line - all natural, taste great and gives me endurance- that's what I care about- it could be a 100 different things causing the cravings, but everyone is different. I simply care that it works and it does- excellent product

After the first week the DIESELADE is no longer increasing hunger for me, and for me That's A Good Thing!!

1st you don't get sore and now this:nutkick:

I still get really hungry when drinking dieselade...but unlike chuck I don't crave sweets and don't get hypo even though I have been tested and have low blood sugar. fortunately if I only use at workout time I can fight thru it and then chow post workout!!!

if I use it thru the day on off days I been carrying a Robert Irvine fit and crunch bar with me and it not only satisfies me but tastes great-highly recommend...tastes great and very filling!!!

eating a lennys complete cookie because chuck wont make them- cough cough-

Feb-3

after yesterdays attempt to get into the hall of doms- i pushed shoulders yesterday- i used 30 min pre and used during the workout.

i did the same again today for back- 30 min before and used during my workout- the endurance alone makes this product worth its weight in gold. focused as well. didnt feel tanked during or afterwards. i am getting to the point that i wish i had more time at the gym. its not that im not pushing myself harder, i just have more energy and desire to want to push out more sets.

i cant stress this enough, you can read all the reports for using bcaa's and not using bcaa's. at the end of the day, its your body and you should be the only one to make the judgement yourself. Dieselade works

I believe this make more sense than all the studies !!!

I got so much research on bcaas but the problem is there is a thin line between educating consumers and helping my competition. The biggest problem is getting consumers to see BCAAs as not just something thats in proetein.
