Is it ok to take aspirin at the same sime as Slim Xtreme? I've only been taking it for two days and I have really weird circulation in my hands (small veins apparently), which has been quite bad today (prob unrelated to SX) so wondering how i can get some relief!

I think it would be fine... Have you thought about takin niacin. It deffinately helps with poor circulation..The only problem is the flushing so start out with a low dose to check your tolerance.

I have taken them together with no problem, however if thesinner chimes in, he would be the one to listen to on this subject

If you have poor circulation, aspirin might be a good thing to take with SX, as aspirin is a COX-I inhibitor, which impedes platelete aggregation in the bloodstream (the last step in causing a stroke/heart attack).

Can you describe your "weird circulation" in a bit more detail? Tingly feelings (like your hand fell asleep)? Veins popping out? What's happening?

Stimulants can sometimes constrict blood vessels, but can also dilate them, depending on the region of the body and the stimulant being used.

well today my veins in my wrists have been popping out and aching all day - my little fingers have been quite bad - and the ends are quite tingley and white.

For the past year and a half I've been waking up in the night several times because all the blood has gone out of my hands - so much so that when it's worst (if i have a tiny bit of salt) they look a bit transparent and i can't move my little fingers. After shaking them around they get better in about ten minutes. Normally in the daytime it's fine, which is why I've been a bit concerned since I started taking Slim Xtreme - although it's almost the opposite of what happens at night.

I'm seeing a neurologist about the dead hands thing next week, although the doctor didn't seem too concerned, she just said my veins are very small and i might have water retention in my elbows(!) that cuts off my blood supply.

I've also had about 2 hours sleep in the last 48hrs so my body my just be screaming for rest and I'm definately not doing enough exercise!

Thank you all for your help!

not blowing this off, and good idea to see a doc., sounds like an existing condition that has flared up. after competing, i really have to watch my sodium intake cause my ankles will disapear lol.. feet go numb, the whole deal..the fluid build up, along with gravity can cause terrible edema.. have you had any rapid weight gain recently? and some, myself included w/ my lower legs- just have poor circulation in the extremities.. not life threatening, just have to keep an eye on it. i even got a foot doctor buddy of mine to get me a pair of those support hose.. u know- the ugly ass tan colored socks that come up to your knee caps? lol.. they look whack, but work great in improving circulation..you should see me pimp em' around walmart.. funny AS HELL. hope the doc visit goes well...

Interesting!

Didnt really consider it before reading this but i generally have poor circulation, however on SX it went away!

Stopped SX Sunday and today my nose is freezing, so are my feet, but my core temp is normal.

hmmm

Very weird. Don't know what to tell you, but I will hunt for an answer
