Sleeping for Growth with Nocturnus

The one thing I can tell you (1) scoop makes me sleep like a baby and REM sleep is when you Grow.. so 1+1 = GROWTH I think we need to use some common sense here !

You could take melatonin for a fraction of the price as this and achieve exactly what you are talking about. There is a dosage of common sense for you, bud.

yes take melatonin pre work out. That should be fun

The individual is talking about taking this before bed to sleep, not as a pre-workout. Nice try, buddy.

First I find it odd your so set on attacking a product you have not tried. Second your in a log and arguing someone's personal experience with a product when everyone responds differently to products. If you don't believe in the log stop following.

I don't need to try the product. I am familiar with and have used the ingredients in the product. This isn't some super special, secret formula or anything. I never attacked an individual's personal experience, but rather the claims of the product and the company itself. To say this product causes massive gh boosts is ridiculous. This is an open forum and I am doing my part to stop people from wasting their money on products sold by dishonest companies.

And what is you scientific background that you base your knowledge and information on

There are studies proving melatonin is very beneficial preworkout. Also, melatonin is counter productive in some people. It actually keeps me awake.

Same here

Last I checked, you don't need to have a medical degree to use pubmed, google scholar, etc.

That's very interesting; however, this doesn't change the fact that there are still much cheaper alternatives out there than this product.

There is a point I won't argue. If you respond to melatonin in a good way then it is a cheaper way. So is hops, valerian and some others. These products don't always work for everyone. I personally do not know the science behind it and Dr. Lee will reesond when he gets back from competeing in Vegas. I do stand by the point that with personally knowing the science I can only give info that's provided. I will post the studies when I receive them.

His last message about the science was this ghrh binds to ghrh-r and ghrp biunds to ghrelin receptor making tem two seperate receptors.

My log has been hijacked. Just say'n

I think that was the intention
That's to bad. I have shared some good feedback on Nocturnus and think it may have gotten lost in the shuffle. I have used it in different settings and am really happy with how it has helped me. I think it will benefit others as well. I have only shared what I know from using the product. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to use and log it. It's the first Mind and Muscle product I have used and as far as I am concerned it does what it claims to do.

Ok the only thing that seems to be a fact in this matter is you are a high school educated individual using Google for all of your information. The problem with this is. Not everything is published on Google. I can understand these topics are confusing and we are trying our best to answer them for you. But in doing so this seems to just confuse you more as you are just going around questions and making new ones. These are made by a MD. Who has extensive knowledge on the subject. I myself am also a nurse that has studied the human body and its effects over many hours and long nights. Many many supplements some of which you might be using are not scientifically studied. They are theorized by other studies done. That is one of the reasons for these logs. To gauge the effects due to lack of a controlled environment that would make these supplements beyond expensive to the consumer. If you don't feel comfortable with something just don't take it. But if we all did that we wouldn't have beaten the Russians in the Olympics when we decided to try these things called "steroids". Sometimes products work for reasons that even if I explained you most likely still won't understand. In conclusion If you would like to log one of these products and gauge its effects for yourself. I am sure we can arrange that.

Steroids had a huge amount of research done already by the germans. Some of their documentation can still be acquired online today. For the record, I am college educated. I have an associates degree and I am within ten credits of graduating in two different majors -- biology and exercise physiology.

Products that increase natural growth hormone production are a BIG DEAL, especially for pharmaceutical companies. To say the creator of these products has miraculously came up with products that do just this, without any research being done on the subject, is laughable.

One thing I want to remind yet again of, this product would serve as a great non-stim preworkout if you take 3 servings of it. My whole issue stems from the idea that this product creates a "massive GH" boost.

I will let Todd answer once he is available. I will say this again mark sorry for the thread hijack

I believe he was using pubmed and using google scholar to find the full texts of the peer reviewed research. Common pratice at the university level. That is not the same as a simple google search. Your post comes off very rude btw.

The more I read this post by NurseGray, the more pissed off I get at your unprofessionalism as a rep. Before you wrote that, I already noted that I use pubmed, googlescholar, etc.. (I have access to jstor as well). Then you go on to claim I am confused and just keep making up new questions once you answer mine. Let's look at my posts.

"The nutritional information looks promising as a pre-workout, but where is the GH release supposedly coming from?"

I am still uncertain from the video you linked me where this "massive GH boost" is coming from in this product.

"I have been unable to find a single study (let alone a reputable one) which shows agmatine sulfate and mullberry extract having any impact on GH. I have found arginine studies that are promising, but every single one I found is done by infusion and often paired with a GHRH.

Thank you for your time."

"Does Dr. Lee provide any evidence that any of that is true?

In addition, I have always been under the impression that the ghrh receptor and the ghrelin receptor are one in the same. I am also unaware that anything can even bind to these receptors (not saying that it doesn't happen)."

"I don't need to try the product. I am familiar with and have used the ingredients in the product. This isn't some super special, secret formula or anything. It looks like my problem the entire time stems from this "massive gh boost" claim, and not once do I waver from that. Since you resorted to unwarranted ad hominem attacks, rather than providing helpful insight or referring to the MD who is boasting about this product, I have some for you. You are pathetically weak, overweight, unmuscular and too inexperienced to tell anyone whether a product works. Practically everything you do should still work -- you are a beginning intermediate. On top of that, you do not conduct yourself in a way that is befitting of a rep. You are a snake oil salesman and nothing more. This argument is over.

I am not sure where the personal attack on you was, I am sure he was not trying to offend you. I understand that you have questions and I have personally spoken to Dr. Lee and asked him to join in this conversation. That being said questioning someone's knowledge is one thing as some of us do not know the science of things. Attacking someone's methods of responded understandable. Attacking someone's fitness level or shape when these forums are about improving themselves isn't really appropriate. If he offended you I am apologizing. As we should all apologize to mark who's log it is.
I will obtain your answers as I stated as soon as I can. If you would kindly pm me I will personally send them to you as well as post here. I prefer not to take anymore of marks log on this. I hope this is agreeable as is the offer that was made about trying the product out. Thank you for your time.

I agree with us posting this elsewhere. Thanks.

Can't we just all get along? I love all you guys! Brothers in iron.

I have used Nocturnus at two scoops the last two nights and and slept very well. I needed it it too. I hadn't slept well at all the week prior. Nocturnus really does taste great. It is nice to use a supplement when you actually look forward to the taste.

I agree with everything said here!

Now mark the log is all yours again!!

Well, Nocturnus for another win! I used 3 scoops in my 28 ounces bottle for my 660 mile drive home and it helped me be alert and focused. We only stopped twice and I never felt sleepy. This was my second go at using Nocturnus during a long drive and I experienced the same alertness and focus. Good stuff!

I didn't use Nocturnus yesterday. I used NyQuil because I'm still kind of sick. I thought about using both, but chose not to

Good call. Nocturnus is great but it's not medicine.

Hope you feel better soon !

I used Nocturnus today for the first time intra workout and it was great. I used Psyched pwo capsules because they're stims and I need that at 6am. The combination was really good. I should be trying Nocturnus with Wyked 2.1 soon. I am looking forward to that :)

I used Nocturnus intra workout again and really like it. I enjoy the taste. It gives me added focus, energy and stamina. I have used it before bed, on long trips (two 660 miles), and now intra. It has helped me in all three scenarios. I am hoping to use it soon as a preworkout with...to be announced:)

Do I see Wyked 2.1 in your future????

Already had one sent

Got my pre-bed drink of 3 scoops of Nocturnus all mixed and ready. It's going to be a good night folks :)

3 scoops???? I'm not sure I would ever wake up. One scoop makes me sleep like a baby!

Might have to give that a try on the weekend. I will be starting my log on Monday!

I really like Nocturnus. 3 scoops in about 10 ounces of water tastes great. I slept wonderful. It's really versatile stuff. I can use it during the day for focus and concentration. I use it before bed and sleep better. I drink it intra workout because I love it (and it adds to my focus and concentration).

Bam! Night time goodness and gains

3 scoops as my intra workout drink works really well. Things are progressing nicely. I hit a new PR today: bb bench 225x8; body weight: 177lbs

Nice PR there! I should try as my intra. But I see another intra product from mind and muscle real soon!

Cool! I want to see these things. Do you have a crystal ball?

I'm going to try Nocturnus mixed with Wyked 2.1 and some T2 for my preworkout tomorrow.

I got some T2 coming can't wait to try it!
