Struggling to get a good nights sleep - tired all day, falling asleep at my desk - being ON CALL doesnt help, as im interupted some nights however its really starting to affect my mood, relationships and concentration.

Valerian complex is ok but makes me dizzy/groggy next day - and i want to stay in bed
L-dopa (mucuna puriens) - i sleep well and wake up fresh on low hours sleep however it makes me really depressed.
5-htp gives me night sweats and heart palputations

Any other suggestions?

Maybe give phenibut-xt by SNS a try from Strong Supplement Shop. Its a pretty nice relaxer and sleep aid.

Are you looking for something that can be taken every night or just occasionally? Phenibut does help with relaxing before bed. Unfortunately, it's not something that can be taken every night. A few items I've had the most luck with are magnesium biglycinate, agmatine and melatonin. However, usually magnesium biglycinate by itself is more than enough.

My favorite daily sleep stack is 300mg theanine, 5g taurine, and ZMA.

But last night I took 3 caps Powerfull and 2 caps Sleephoria and I can't describe how deep I slept. Typically I pop right out of bed, but this morning I just wanted to lay there and get a few more hours because it was so great. Incredible stack.

Side note, if you have any amount of an addictive personality (like me), I'd suggest avoiding phenibut.

I personally do really well with a basic sublingual melatonin for a few bucks at the grocery store. I take about an hour before bed. I also have been told gaba is great and doesn't leave you groggy when you wake

Relora works wonders for me. Relaxes and keeps me asleep without feeling anxious several times throughout the night.

Easy ones are magnesium and glycine (you can actually purchase magnesium diglycinate to cover both). Magnesium will be particularly effective if you're deficient, which is likely if you don't eat a lot of nuts or leafy greens. Just be sure to supplement a good form, as some cheaper ones (e.g. oxalate) have appalling bioavailability: Invalid Link Removed

Melatonin is a popular one, but you need to know how to dose it. More is not better, and the common label instructions of "10 minutes before bed" are wrong. 1mg is the most you really want to take and you want to take it an hour or two before attempting to sleep.

GABAergic substances can be exceedingly effective, but mind that some have very strong tolerance and dependency effects on many users; Phenibut can go from being a miracle to hell very quickly.

Valerian (e.g. as in Bob's recommended Sleep GH from Prime) and others have mixed results for a lot of people, but it's worth experimenting with if you're looking for something new.

Above all else, though, sleep hygiene and mindfulness exercises (yes, I'm serious) are proven to have an extraordinarily helpful effect on sleep onset and quality. Staying away from bright lights (including forums!) for a time before bed, and setting aside some time to consciously unwind and relax yourself, is going to accomplish a lot -- not just for sleep -- and in a very sustainable way. I know this last bit sounds hokey as hell, but it's for real: Invalid Link Removed

I have been taking 5 mg and when I wait atleast an hour it works really well for me. You think i could still get away with 1mg?

Currently I just take melatonin, but I have tried lights out and also 3Z by ai sports and had some crazy crazy dreams

A lot of these listed are great for sleep, Lots of people share by G8. I would try that and if it doesn't do the trick see a doctor. I for one waited way to long before seeing one about my sleep issues.

What's your sleep hygiene like? Do you have the same evening routine? Sleep at roughly the same time? Limit screen use prior to bed?

A tip I find helps is, if you have a light dimmer, to start dimming the lights a few hours before bed and dim them further every hour or so until its time to sleep. It doesn't have to be so dim that you struggle to see, but enough to signal your brain that it is getting dark. I find light very stimulating and this has helped me tremendously as I need to be up everyday at 4am for training. Also maximise natural light; keep the blinds/ curtains open AS LONG AS POSSIBLE and try get as much daylight exposure as you can.

If that isn't enough, then Relora, Ashwaganda and Rhiodiola are good, longer term options. Growth Factor XT makes a good option for sporadic use.

G8 and Animal PM are great options.

I was thinking about animal PM, i just use melitonin but i still wake up guess i need a little something stronger, i know when i took ronnies resurrect pm, my eyes shut so fast hahh

i loved ronnies product. Trying Sleep GH now by Prime and finding it a bit better IMO

When are you taking it? I took Ronnies 30 min before bed, I couldn't keep my eyes open past 20 minutes hah. I know Prime and I trust Bruan I have a sample just havnt tried it yet

dont take it so close to food (If you eat right before bed) i would wait 2 hours after a meal then take it then hit bed.

Ok thanks, I'll try it tonight. I think I have the mango flavor hah. Hoping lights out

I got a sample of new version of Ronnie PM and liked it. Try the old one?

I have yet to try prime sleep GH yet but have one from their sister co Blackstone Anesthetized. Best I have tried yet.

I took it 30 mins before bed, 30 mins after a meal too. I slept from 11-8 on a weekend. I easily could've gone back to sleep but had somewhere to go. Unheard of for me. I always wake up early no matter how late I go to bed.

I don't like that it's a prop blend but all I've seen are.
Note: only used twice so far

Tried both, i still find Sleep GH better.

Sleep GH formula looks better and after my experience with BSL I'm interested to try.

Only reason I ask is because a local shop is clearing it for $25, but not too much lower than sleep GH at some places.
