Dude, shltty. I hate when that happens. Better than coming out to the parking lot and it not being there at all (happened to my '08 gsxr 1000 on Bragg). Sorry to hear. Hope you get some new wheels soon.
 
Got a new car last night, left the house for Bean's contest about 30 minutes ago. Back in the gym tomorrow. Couldn't be happier.
 
So, hiatus complete. Got a fully functioning vehicle and no relevant excuse to not be back in the gym. I may have put on some flab with the trip to Portland and the poor discretion as far as diet goes. No worries though, I know how to take it back off.
Bean's show was fun and I want to thank him and his family for how pleasant and welcoming they were to an outsider. That being said, he deserved much better than what he got, in my eyes, but I'm not a judge. I learned a lot from the show and I've decided that I'm going to grow a pair and step on stage myself. I don't know where or when, but it's going to happen.

MAX PUMP had me feeling very swollen at the end of my little workout, pumps were great. First time using the IGNITE2 and I was sweating my balls off. Great energy, and I had a great workout. Can't wait for tomorrow.

I just picked up a box of these gems. I told myself I was going to try them a while back and didn't get around to it til today. I should have held off. I believe I may eat this whole box in one sitting. Great job breezy, pretty sure I'm gonna get fat again.

Yes, Max Pump is pretty ridiculous. I went with 4 uncapped this morning and it didn't take long to feel the effects. Today was leg day, so it's a little harder to feel it for me, but during calf raises there were some definite pumps going on with increased vascularity. I'm only a couple of days into using it consistently and from what I understand of betaine, it takes a few days for complete saturation. If it gets better than this...Jesus.

Just lower the weight big dogg, shyt you're doin 135, I don't even do 135 crazy face. Or switch to glute-ham raises! Woo those are incredible for the the posterior chain

It's not so much the weight, I don't think. It's more the motion that scares me. I think I'll give the glute ham raises a go next week. I mentioned those to monte this morning as a replacement. I like doing them weighted (holding a plate).

Tbh, I like the city and the state. It's beautiful up here, with the exception of bits and pieces. The people are a little too liberal for me, at times, but I can shrug that off. It's the sixth "fittest" city in the nation, so there's a gym everywhere you look. The rain is just that, rain. The weather is pretty mild year around and it doesn't get much hotter than 85 degrees which is a welcome change from the 120+ crap I've dealt with all too often over the past decade+. Driving here is absolutely HORRIFIC, and I dread my evening commute. Couple that with poorly maintained roads and a case of road rage and I'm like a timebomb in a VW.
There are jobs here, and a ton of them at that. There's so much money in this area. I could see myself retiring and starting a new career here for that reason. There's always good with the bad, but I'd say this place is mostly good. If you haven't been up here, June-August is the time to visit. Catch a Mariner game, ride the big wheel, hop on a ferry and go get some pizza at Pegasus on Alki beach.

I drive a VW. One of them is a '62 rollback rag bug, the other is an '04 R32.

Yeah - I love 'em, but Good mornings will fatigue me after a bit. I've yet to find a true replacement though. Dimel deads are pretty interesting for something using lighter weight

It's a love/hate relationship. My lower back was really sore yesterday so I hated them. I'm fine now, so I don't hate them so much.

Three miles complete. Integrated some sprints at the 1.5 mile mark, and walking lunges at the end (50 meters worth on an incline). Good times.
