I've bought a lot of books featured on SHR. My favorite, and most life altering was definitely 'Addiction: The Hidden Epidemic' by Pam Kileen. I've bought at least a half-dozen copies and given them to family and friends.
I'll probably pick this up as well as an ebook. Kinda strange that Dr. Mercola wrote the foreward for the book. What does he know about exercise.. Or genetics?
Most books are worth the ten or so odd dollars, some are better than others but it's not a big ask. Some change your life, some you can reference in conversation, and some you just laugh off and forget about. It's hard to put a price on new ideas and thought.

It looks like I 'm the only one here that thinks the Carl Lanore has really
lost his marbles here after listening to this interview with
Ori Hofmekler. His new book needs to be put on the,
" Burn it because it's just so dumb" list.
Listen to Ori Hofmekler brilliant description of the Dinosaur
bird that over some millions of years evolved from a flyer
to a runner. And died out because it was to weak to defend now
her eggs that were safe before in high places. He equated this
with the falling of man and their strengths. Yet is was the female
that lowered itself to running and layed the eggs. Not the male.
Carl also promised that he will for sure live to 100 years old or more.
Carl knows all the secrets, and learned so much for Ori Hofmekler's
book (Unlock Your Muscle Gene) that is critical to our survival.
As Carl put it, before when we were cave men, that decended from
apes. We CAN over time change because of Ori Hofmekler's style on
how to exercise and eat. This will allow our muscle cells and muscle
fibers to revert back to when we were cave men and be as strong as
apes, as Carl points out. You know, back when we could pick up
BOULDERS and hurl them, as well as lift trees up and out of the
front of cave entrances so we can live in them.
Now people, when you hear the names, Ori Hofmekler and
Carl Lanore. Can we a say loud, QWACKS !!!!!!! Carl really believes he
is a Super Human (Ape). Carl needs to retitle his radio show
to 'Super Human-Apes Radio'. SHAR.
Hey Carl, can you give any real scientific evidence that we
evolved from apes and that we and the world are billions
of years old. And I'm not looking for it's 'possible or
plausible'. Or we can came to the assumption by looking at.
As you people know from Carl's 'CASUAL FRIDAY' shows, he has
told everyone that he does not believe in God. That's fine, until
you start you cross the line and start saying SICK things about
the God that we Christians, Jews and other believe in. He hasn't
crossed that line on his SHR show yet, but it's just a matter of
time. As you can tell from listening to his 'CASUAL FRIDAY' shows.
He's been turning his so called family type show into a show that he
was doing up till November 2010 with Aaron Singerman. Carl
justifies his bad language now on the SHR show by, "it's my show, and
I can say and do whatever I want to".
He and Aaron Singerman co-hosted Off Topic RX show. Aaron was leaving
that show, and was going on to do other things. And Carl was starting on
his radio show 'BodyRX with Dr. Scott Connelly' . Do an easy
google search to find out about this abortionist\con-man. I can provide you

He always said he hoped his SHR listeners never find and listen to
his 'OFF TOPIC' show.

You seem like someone who listens avidly so I do not fully understand your negativity.
Carl may have said before that he does not believe in God, but I'm not sure if that is true. He occasionally says things impulsively and I think that is part of his on-air charm. My guess is that he has usual doubts about organized religion but also respects the power and peace that both faith and spaces of shared belief give many people.
As for evolution and the other topics you mentioned, I did not understand much of what you wrote, and in other cases I think you have distorted his words. Has not he always cursed here and there? Perhaps he is cursing more frequently now, which although it bothers me none, I think it's great for avid listeners like yourself to express your opinions.
I'd like to take a different, inspired path and offer this research, which at least makes me wonder about the physical qualities of ancient humans and/or species with which they interbred:

Mac45, you of course need to PROVE the existence of your choice of god (there are lots of them) before you throw stones however.
I like some of the concepts Ori states. Intermittent fasting does have a solid following and there seems to be a large body of evidence that points to calories restriction as a means to better and longer health and longevity. Intermittent fasting appears on the surface to reap similar benefit as Ori states. I personally think it makes sense.
I however, think Ori's exercise prescription is weak. After looking at the video's online I will stick with what I do. If you want to evoke the ape in you I think a hardcore workout with squats and deadlifts will do you a lot more good than sitting on a recumbent bike lifting little weights. That's my opinion.
