Shoulder injury and working out?

Hey guys,

So about a week ago, my buddy was in the one room of my house, and he was drunk and puking pretty badly, and wasn't sure what was wrong with him.. and he locked the door. So i decided to knock the door down to see if he was alright, and i used my shoulder. Same shoulder that i've dislocated and separated before. Haven't gone to the doctor yet, but it feels like something is definitely wrong and im not quite sure what. Feels more of a separation. I can move it and lift things up alright with some restriction, not much pain, more of a stinging feel that sometimes goes down to my chest (weird). Also, when i move it up and down it clicks. I don't feel the need to go to a doctor because ive had multiple shoulder injuries and they tend heal in a couple of weeks, but i've been wanting to start BULK-UP badly and this is really pissing me off.. haha. So would it be a bad idea to work out on it? I tried doing some pushups to see if it'd hurt, and it seemed fine. I wouldn't attempt to bench with it though, id feel like it'd possibly give out. So would light workouts (besides legs), and doing minimal chest exercises (like dumbbell press) be fine? I don't want to screw this shoulder up forever causing me not being able to bench in the future, but it's killing me not being in the gym.

Should i wait another week or two, or should i be fine? I feel like right now if i went light with it id be fine, but i just want to be sure.

Thanks!

Oh and my buddy had alcohol poisoning so luckily i got in there!

there is no proper answer my friend other then of course see the doctor//listen to your body//do no exercise that hurt to much in the wrong way,,some may disagree my view but you are young and push the injury will do you no favours when little older and wishing you were enabled to lift still but unable from dumb rash bravado of youth
