shaking mixture

does simply shaking a non-disolved(non-solution)/non-suspended mixture cause a powder to be evenly distributed?

say for instance i place 1g of drol in 20ml of bicardi 151..well the drol simply settles at the bottom.. so i am thinking if i simlpy shake the bottle it sill stay suspended(evenly distributed) long enough to draw ~50mg/cc..

thoughts?

As long as you draw fast you should be fine.

If you want a better way to mix it up use an oil of some type and a hand blender. It works great.
