I think the best thing we can do is live every day as the exact opposite of what these "people" want us to be. Lead by example. We are still wired the same as we have always been. A strong(physical and mental) force in the world attracts women and men. Humans are drawn to this for multiple evolutionary reasons, no matter what people want to believe.
