Hi,

What is Your opinion on do all work sets to failure in Volume Training ( i mean 16-20 work sets per large body part and 9-12 sets per small body part )?

Do You think Ronnie in this Video is going to failure or it is one more rep before failure? Is it good way to train like Ronnie in Video in all work sets or only in last one per exercise?

IMHO, you do not need that much if you are using mostly the compounds and adding weight weekly to the big 5-7 exercises and eating enough good food.
As far as "failure" it can be a relative term and certain exercises are going to be easier to work to failure in or recover from (so called 80%-100% failure) like curls and or smaller or iso muscle work, than say the big compound moves ie: legs, hips and back work. (which you do not need to work to failure with and most don't)

As far as Ronnie, et al. the typical gym masses, would probably be better and farther ahead, not emulating pro and especially "assisted" lifters and follow a more proven mainstream written method like a good 5x5 etc., McCullum's KTP, Rippetoe's SS, Steiner's Hardgainers Bible, McRobert's Brawn Or Beyond Brawn, Kubik's Dinosaur Training, PHAT, Starr's 5x5, Ditillo's Old School Trainer or some stuff in The Tight Tan Slacks of Deszo Ban.

Nothing new under the sun really.
