I've looked through examine and briefly searched the interwebs. But, can anyone point me into a study that shows long term benefits/side effects/draw backs of long term use of sensoril?

(10% withanolides -50mg daily when waking). I've been using it like the title mentioned.. honestly it may be longer, i can't remember exactly when i started taking it.

1000mg/day Sensoril, but only for 14 days:

Significant improvements were observed in reaction times with simple reaction, choice discrimination, digit symbol substitution, digit vigilance, and card sorting tests with Withania somnifera extract compared to placebo.

Edit: that’s 100mg withanolides per day. The standard 600mg/day KSM-66 is 30mg/day withanolides.

Edit 2: this study used 500mg/day of an 8% extract (actually, it was Sensoril), or 40mg/day withanolides, for 60 days:

This study determined that daily consumption of stan- dardized WSE at three dosages (125 mg QD, 125 mg BID,
and 250 mg BID) reduced experiential feelings of stress and anxiety, serum concentrations of cortisol and CRP, pulse rate and blood pressure; and increased serum concen- tration of DHEAS in the chronically stressed adults who completed the study. The WSE 125 mg BID and WSE 250 mg BID dosages also improved fasting blood glucose lev- els and lipid profiles for study participants in those groups. Cardiac risk ratios improved for the two higher dosage WSE groups. Although the 25% dropout rate may have par- tially skewed results, the observed dose-dependent, signifi- cant trends in most variables evaluated support the view that daily use of WSE would benefit people suffering from the effects of stress and anxiety without any adverse effects.

Great reads, however i was looking for long term data (a year of continual use or longer). I'm going to stop for a month or longer just to give my self a break. My bloods *look* fine but that was over a two months ago when i had them drawn. I feel "okay" but who knows whats going on within my body lol

I doubt you'll find a study in humans that uses ashwagandha for a year TBH. That said, traditional Indian Ayurvedic use seems to use it long-term.

Ashwagandha is used as a household remedy by Indians, who consider it as the best tonic for old people and children, and as aphrodisiac by young people. It is one of the best nervine tonics of Ayurveda, the most ancient system of Medical Sciences. Our clinical experience showed that besides the enumerated neurological conditions, brain strokes causing paralysis and neuronal deficit also improve in the long term treatment with Ashwagandha.

Animal studies show long-term use is fine (source: "Effects of long-term administration of the roots of ashwagandha and shatavari in rats")

This study used 500mg/day Sensoril for 12 weeks. That's pretty close to what you've done it looks like:

I see 90 days with 675mg/day KSM-66 here:

And 5g/day root powder for 3 months here:

Some research in worms showing lifespan increasing effects, which should in theory support long-term use:

I looked at this one previously (admittedly only the conclusion) but I just found the bloods on this specific study which is nice because I can compare my CMP to the collected samples of the S500 group.

Appreciate the help!
