I was wondering if anyone has used this.
Doctor discussed prescribing it for thyroid support
I wasn’t familiar with it and I was looking to see if there are alternatives or if it is something worth taking
Thanks for your help.

I use it. About 200mcg a day. And it sure does lower thyroid hormones (I also use Swanson's thyroid glandular. Frozen bovine thyroid tissue). But why prescribe something that is already sold in regular food stores and pharmacies.

If you wanna go natural you can eat 2-3 Brazil nuts and a can of sardines in tomato sauce every day. Probably contains more than enough selenium per daily recommended intake.
