Sean's Powerlifting Journey

A nice digital camera and watch maybe to judge speed not sure

most of the crew tape there lifts and I'm going to start after christmas when I can afford a decent camera

So, this is 605x2 around a year ago maybe. Same RPE. I'm hoping since I did it with a more difficult bar, that it means I've progressed somewhat?

Here's a second angle. First rep was def high, second was alright. I went to wide. Blah. **** it. I'm not on the platform yet.

First day back in wraps, **** it. 600 for a double with the SSB is outstanding any way you slice it.

And it's a tough angle, but your first rep passes in the RPS, man.

Call me crazy, but I think the SSB is much harder! Nice ****ing work big guy, holy hell.

Boom. Thanks, DMax! I was curious about the compression wrapping stuff too. I've trained with both of those guys. Justin is a very smart dude and a talented athlete.

EDIT: If you get to the end of the video and wonder where the rest is, click.the Ustream link in the description and click part 2.

Yeah I only thought it was high from the second videos angle. BTW, check out that guys vids. 700lb hook grip deadlift. Nuts.

Good call! I'll do it tonight

Doubling >600# WITH the SSB. You are not a human being.

My non-progressing bench and deadlift say otherwise! Thanks dude.

My glutes are sore

Feeling good today. Slightly sore. Deload time. On duty till Monday, then back on Tues-Fri.

Some plans changed and I may not be able to do the push/pull. We'll see. Might be able to make it work.

Sounds awesome. One of these days I'd like to make the trek for one of the elitefts seminars too

Dan Green is having a seminar at Poundstone Performance, just a couple hours from me.

Annnnnnnnnd I'm on duty.

Can't wait to ****ing get out of the CG.

I saw that on IG. That really sucks you can't go, those two guys in one place is a whole lot of strong. Top of the world in both PL and strongman at one time or another.

Tired and don't even feel like lifting. Just did some bull****. One thing I wished I hit more this training block was heavier rowing and more good mornings. Maybe I just wanted a break from it.

He moves so fast for such a big man; I'm always amazed by his athleticism in the WSM vids.

Going to start focusing on April 25 after next week. Need to pull off 705+ before someone else takes it.

Until I'm 10 weeks out, I'll focus on build some muscle, building up my conventional pull, incline/OHP until my AC is back to normal, and alternate the SSB for 2 weeks and 1 week straight. Once I'm 10 weeks out I'll most likely roll with 10/20/Life to peak.

Im open to ideas.

Saturday is a go. I'm doing last warmups for deadlift today. I'll test my bench tomorrow to judge whether or not my AC is totally ****ed or not.
