A bit tight but functional still. They don't feel beat up like they used to, feels like everything is firing right. Just haven't had a chance to stretch them at all in a couple of days.

As long as everything is firing, that's all that matters.

Going about my warmups differently has changed that. I haven't had that that tensed up piriformis or blocked hips in a couple weeks. Have been doing that psoas stretch daily as well. I just need to stretch now. And take a damn break. I look forward to deloading.

-Bench Blox for happy shoulders. 2-5 Board
-Ammonia because it's amazing.
-Titan Titanium wrist wraps. Holding them, they feel a tad flimsy, but that's because I'm used to EFS Heavies maybe. They have the same "stretch and locked in" feel as the Titanium Knee Wraps......plus these won't stink my truck up like my old ones. I like em.

I love my Titaniums. You can really alter them to have solid support to going for a stiff, rigid wrap.

Dude, they're so much better than the EFS ones. Those are cardboard compared to the Titanium's.

I see what you mean about altering the wrap. Tons of stretch.
 
I like my Titaniums as well. :)
 
I liked my Titaniums so much I gave them to my client. That said he prefers them to his gangster wraps.

In on Kroc row off, posting from the gym and I'll do those next.

Freaking machine lol. I got 100x25 today, couldn't say that I could do that again though. Doing a set of 50 then 2 of 25 is nuts..

Short story: The stars weren't lined up as they should have been and that's my fault. Main failure came from some loss of external rotation and knees touching in. I'm going to deload. I need it. I'll hit my last warmups the week of my meet.
 
Sounds like a plan, man. You'll be well rested coming into the meet and that will benefit you. What's the heaviest comp bench you've hit so far this cycle?

I've been slingshotting it past 275. 275 was my last raw press, two weeks ago.

I'm fairly let down now after watching the video multiple times. It was beautiful going down.

I just found out a few minutes ago that I'll be moving into a new place on base during the week of the meet. That sucks.

Nice work - you'll be much stronger after the deload and getting fed leading into the meet; you can't be a machine all the time and you've been pushing for some time now to get ready. And the move is something you can choose to let get in your head and give you some kind of excuse to undermine your potential at the comp, or not. You decide.

To be honest, your descent looked a little tentative for my taste. Your positioning looked excellent, though. I was just curious if you'd felt any weight in your hands on the bench.

Slingshot 315x1 to a 1-Board last week and Slingshot 315x a couple to a 2-Board. As long as I can keep my back tight, my shoulders are okay.

I know what you mean. The slingshot helps to reinforce that, even if it's only slightly.
 
You could find somebody who welds and have them weld a weight to the end of some cheap pipe for 30 bux. File any edges, hell spray paint it if you want. Don't waste 140 bux on that, jeez man.

What about a cheap Walmart curl bar? If it's too long you can saw some off. Couldn't be more than $30-50.
