Looked up Casey Williams and he did a meet in cleveland (my neck of the woods) in August. Squatted 804 in the 242lb weight class.

Yeah, he's the current WR for 220. Him and Tee Cummins are both 242's now. I'm just wondering about any other lifters going for the 220 WR.
 
Jesse could almost take the 220 total now just by competing. Kids unreal.
 
Not so sure he's in the drug tested category anymore. He's squatted over 700 I believe yet the drug tested record remains 700 for 198.

Figured. In all fairness, he probably wasn't drug free when he competed in the drug tested category. But who am I to say that
 
He claims to be drug free but who knows. And yea Sean that is unreal. Makes me think how my pull is nothing, but also how much I could grow if I work hard enough. He's one heck of a lifter and at his age he will be doing some impressive things for years to come.
 
Today's goal was to double 615 and have one left in the tank. No bueno.

I took too wide of a stance underneath the monolift. Second I hip hinged, everything felt off, so I cut the rep short and called it quits. I don't have the energy to be re-attempting shît.

Instability was located above the traps today, bro. Take a step back, refocus, and kill the rest of prep. You're alright.
 
Don't let the miscounted week thing throw you. You're a natty lifter. Your strength has been a long time coming; you're not relying on any degree for certain drugs to kick in the way I am - if anything, this will provide you better recovery going into the meet, and not rushing your peak as hard at the last minute.

I'm no expert, but the heavy doubles you and liftandswim discussed sounds perfect to me. I'd be confident as hell already knowing you're gonna be right where you need to be, without rushing.
 
Don't blame you not reattempting that weight. Just looked unstable there. Finally, proof you are human and not a squatting cyborg :D
 
Ah that sucks ass. Just try not to loose too much weight, unless you go about a full class down lol
 
Strained myself while vomiting violently yesterday. Lower abdomen/upper pubic area strains when I cough. There's no bulging like a typical hernia, but maybe it's a sports hernia? What else could it be? I'll be going to medical for this one tomorrow if it isn't better.
 
I've definitely pulled muscles hurling before!!! Ice it up and hopefully it goes away in a day. Dude we are both gonna be a mess b4 this meet!!!
 
Lower rectus ab. trigger point or something similar. If you do have one and find it don't die when trying to fix it...I had one that felt like my appendix burst once. No bueno haha

Sounds like it could be easily caused by vomiting. Good deal. I'll hold off of benching today and just do some fluff n buff work.

No idea. Woke up yesterday morning nauseous as hell. Heaved up bile. Felt better so I ate. Puked it up 5 minutes later. Ordered an XL meat lovers two hours later and was perfectly fine.

Ask anyone who has seen me vomit and they'll tell you it's the most disturbing thing ever. I go into straight exorcist mode, and it's the most dramatic heaving ever.

Ever taken a lacrosse ball to the FUPA area? Worst. Feeling. Ever.
 
Dude remember when you couldn't press anything, and now you're about to get back under 315 without any gear?
 
Not sure if I'd order an XL meat lovers as the cure, lol.

I lifted at work so there wasn't enough weight to attempt 575 off of blocks or reverse bands. The bar was stiff and I had to ride the weights down so I' was a bit slower than last week. Still, good confidence building right now.
