Sean's Powerlifting Journey

I'm pulling a deadlift max today because I can't next week.

Gear guys-which suit should I pull in? I might jump into one if I have any energy left afterwards. Both are double ply.

Edit: Apparently I started to suck at pulling, Couldn't move past 545 today. Not putting a suit on.

Isn't it odd how deadlift is like that some days the weight flys other just feels heavy and doesn't want to move well
 
2" below my knees. I started doing "the shake" which I've never done. Just all felt off. 555 is the current 1RM. Broke the floor easily with 565 twice and got just below my knees. Bleh.
 
You'd have nailed that 565 if you'd used the 2-ply the whole time ;)

If you wanna get rid of one of the suits, PM me & maybe we can work something out. Wouldn't mind one at all for random ego-boosting overloads.
 
haha ya right? Those are my gym owners. I have a singly ply Inzer Hardcore squat suit in your size (as long as you're under 210lbs) Good condition if interested.

Benching felt fine. AC was a bit tight but I'll scrape some crap out and make sure I sleep on my back. I wanted a change if pace so I did a circuit. Now I'm sweating my ass off.

Might go poke around in the strongman stuff here now...
 
Long as I break 300 in Oct I'll be happy. Shoulder is doing good. Need to hit up some Graston soon though. I can feel all the adhesions in the pec minor. My anterior delt is clear, for the first time in months at least.

You should definetly make your way to my gym someday before your wife pops!
 
Ahh ya saw your farmer walks, guessing they were 2" handles?

Haha I had to do a few if them visits myself. Mine sucked. Always middle of the night on work nights.

I was ready with preworkouts and protein each time though

I got them from LiftingLarge. Titan direct has terrible customer service from my two experiences with them. I'll let ya know next week!

They claim that Titan tends to up their general pricing too soon, but they're holding pricing on what's in inventory & trying to push it out faster w/ the sale. So they claim. So now probably is a pretty decent time if you were gonna anytime soon.

Lol I actually have 5 pairs of wraps... 3 of which are nearly brand new.

I'm thinking shoes might be necessary soon or just having my Dynamos resoled...
 
Speaking of soles.

Sean, I just got the shoes today. Now, what's the difference between the soles, one for training one for competition? What's the difference?

Ok, I guess I just don't understand the mechanics behind why it's necessary to have two different soles.

They fit perfect man!
