Sean's Powerlifting Journey

Do you perform BW squats when you wrap it or can you get a therapeutic effect merely standing?

I just wrap it and do bodyweight squats and kind of massage out the knee then take it off. If I do it in the gym, I'll use a band and distract my leg from a rack while it's wrapped. Donnie Thompson (SuperD) has a couple of different methods of doing it.

Felt decent on sumo. Adjusting to the more narrowed stance but it feels fine. Snatch grips were awesome. I probably couldn't break 500 off blocks conventional but snatch grip I can lol Who the **** knows.
 
Maybe being down further gets your quads more involved? **** if I know haha but awesome pulling Sean
 
Just watched the video, it definitely didn't look like leg drive made the sgbp easier for you...crazy
 
More Graston done on posterior shoulder and triceps. Nothing more to scrape out anterior so that's a big improvement. Right impingment hasn't been existent the last few days either.

Going to Swiss bar slingshot bench tonight possibly. If that's a no go, then I'll incline.
 
That's strange about being stronger on the snatchgrip. It wears me the hell out. But I haven't gone heavier than sets of 8 w/ like 365 or something.
 
Hey who sells packs of bands anymore? I don't see the pack of em on EliteFTS, just individual bands.
 
EFS still does, my friend just bought a multi pack last week. On my phone, so cannot search it.

Bought some bands from elite last week during the memorial sale. All the 41" premium or w/e series was on sale, & they sell the regular colored ones in pairs also. And they have a dedicated Mountaindog pack too, if you're into that kind of thing.

First horizontal press since April 19th and probably my 5th horizontal pressing since December. I felt pressure in the AC joint with the medium grip but it was absent with the wide grip. There was also zero reminence of any impingment in my right supra.

Of course I bought Fat Gripz so I used it for everything to test the waters.
