Sean's Powerlifting Journey

Thanks bud! Had some gumbo for lunch and meatballs for dinner. Gonna sit in the shower with trash bags later on and hopefully weigh in light.

Good luck!

Make some memories tomorrow big man!!

I appreciate it, gents. Walkin around in neoprene shorts and sweats, literally sweating my balls off now.

I must say though, that wearing the neoprene shorts for 3 hours has my hips feeling more than incredible.

Gooooood luck, Sean!!!!!

****!!!!!!!!!! 650 was a miss. As I was wrapping my last knee, my wrap came unbound from the role, then people crowded around me as I tried to wrap it with the roll loose. I tied it off just as they called my name so I felt rushed. Shot up there, took in air, unracked, and it felt off. I should have gone a pin lower to account for the bar flex. I had to set it back down and unrack it again. At that point, I couldn't draw in the same amount of air and lost it out of the hole.

I had 3 lifters, a spotter, and judge, tell me that by how my 620 went, they thought 650 was gonna be too conservative. I should of had it. In October, I hope that it'll be a second attempt by then.

What an adventure, man. Poor pin height has gotten me on PR attempts in the past as well. Still, 620!!

Still a killer performance and good lifts. I wna see 620 film. Good work. You're right you'll kill it next meet.

Nice work buddy. Chalk that up to shît happens and move on. 650 next time around.

Jelly of that bar speed!

Awesome job!

Easy 275. Pressed 300 on my third and got a red light for a butt lift. I honestly don't know how it could of lifted from how I was locked in, but it is what it is. I'm just happy I've been able to maintain pressing strength over this time. Shoulders don't like me now so I'll hold off on benching for another few weeks.

Alright! Good to see the strength is there. Keep rehabbing and you'll be ready to bench big soon enough. Now the meet begins.
