Awesome!! Hard work pays off...

Feck yeah! That's what's up! Can't wait to see the vid. Let's see a big pull!

This is the biggest meat Gene said he's ever put on. At least 200 people here, yesterday that was at least double that. It's a crazy house here. Some serious lifters also

That's awesome! Get the crowd behind you for them pulls!

Struggled with 485. Got 535 just below my knees and held it for a while there and dropped it. I almost blacked out so I scratched my third attempt. I'm still seeing stars after 10 minutes and feel like absolute sh1t. I'm happy with a 600lb squat, being a 50lb meet PR in 6 months and a 35lb lifetime PR within 2 months, and also a 10lb meet total PR

Congratulations Buddy

Congrats man. Hope the experience was great and glad you hit some PRs. :)

1385 @200 ain't bad at all, especially considering the squat. Just gotta get that dead up to match.

yeah I was just wrecked from the squat. valsava effect gave me the worst headache in the world.

I'll take a 3x bodyweight squat though.

Awesome work Sean, good decision scratching the third.

Well crap, what do I use for a training max with deadlift now lol

Go relax, celebrate, eat a crap ton of food, do whatever and come back to think about that later. :D

Just use whatever your highest pull was from this training cycle.

Great job Sean. Awesome total bud.

Congrats on the big day! Awesome stuff! Beat my total by 5lbs, too you sombish. Lol. I had the same issues with wearing down throughout the meet. Go celebrate, a huge total and WR deserves a big party.

Thanks again everybody for the encouragement.

My dad deleted the failed 535 attempt so I couldn't see what happend. 485 looked like crap lol

Awesome awesome work Sean. Glad to see you hit that squat my man!

Great meet! Strong celly after the 600 squat, I liked it. That 485 didn't look all that bad. I'd have gone with 5 for the 1400lb total. Great day though, man.

Ya my gym owner was my handler for squat and bench, and he has a lot if experience, but had to take off before deadlifts. He woulda recommended something better than 535, like you mentioned

There are so many ways to go with it, man. The only way to learn is to keep gaining experience. Definitely hard to pick up a PR deadlift at the end of a meet.

and I edited out me screaming off and tripping on a rug

Hahahah eff yeah! That's what you like to see after a big lift you've worked so hard for. 625 next time!
