Newb question but I was under the impression open = open regardless. What do you mean?

In the RPS, there's amateur and pro. Am is drug tested. Pro is not tested. Once your total hits a certain number, you have to either pay for your drug test (elite division) or you enter the Pro division.

Good to know. I may do some RPS next year in the tri-state area. They do a lot of PA ad surrounding states meets.
 
Sucks about the missed 198 op but now it's all about the PR's and totals. Get some big boy!!

Motivation it is! Of course I'm rooting for you to break it. I thought it would've been cool if you had the record at 198 and I had it at 220. Looks like it's my turn to cut to 198!
 
I want you to hit that 600lbs to motivate me to get to 3x bodyweight on squats as well. That is some serious poundage.

Food intake sounds epic right now too. :lol:
 
Hopin the strength is there for it. 585 will be a 20lb PR

Well definitely break that 560lbs record then see how everything falls. ;)

I took it seriously. Followed my plan each day. I've kept my diet on track for a while now for the intention of cutting to 198. If I was gonna purposely compete 220, then I'll weigh 220. I wouldn't have sacrificed the potential strength gains I could have had the past few weeks if I didn't care about getting to 198.

I may not have drank enough Mon-Wed. Topped off at 3 gallons each day. I only lost 1lb last night. I coulda taken another Epsom bath this morning but at that point I was so fed up and was bankin on luck.

I'm upset...but I'm more so looking forward to the future. I have a lot of growing to do. So, it is what it is. I didn't wanna go another day fasted and weighin Sunday. I'm content
 
Sorry to hear you missed weight, close call though. Surprised you didn't make it.

Sean, kill it tomorrow. Can't wait to hear about you having the new record. Weight is just another number that doesn't matter now that you weighed in. What matters now is how much you put up tomorrow. Get some.
