Damn, you're starting to get pretty wide, though! Now you just need the hip strength (or patterning) to keep the knees out wide out of the hole. Gotta get vid of you on the bad girl machine doing the stack and grunting hard.

Sean1332, do you feel that when you go wider that theres any tendency for the knees to want to cave? Or do you really externally torque to prevent this from happening?

For me, yes. You gotta crank those fckers out haha

That's what happend today. Normally I'm an ~inch more narrow. I haven't been sitting back enough so I brought the stance out a smidge

When I try to go extra wide, combined w/ a solid hinge, my left leg wants to collapse inwards out of the hole..I was able to get around this my adding a little knee flexion to keep it solid but this obviously is not optimal technique.. Gonna have to try really pushing outwards next time

Well I haven't consciously tried to torque outwards at the hips before. I'm gonna try it tomorrow and see how it works out

I very rarely say this, but you're now at that point where you're reading too much and don't have the base to be able to apply the information.

He squats narrow stance, he's bald, and juices...and explosive as hell

I can finally attempt heavy squats again....but nowhere near the stuff in here.

Looked real solid and only a minor knee cave on some. You look in control of that weight regardless of how heavy it was.

Thanks man. Good to hear that you're healed up and ready to rock!

Ya I am real eager to finally be able to lift normal again...but the DOMS are going to be insane for the first week or two.

Hm I'll hold off. I still like my Blue Arrows. Also looking at the gripper wraps.

Picking up TK Knee sleeves. Tried them on yesterday and they felt good.

You fancy ****.

TK sucks, mine split in a few weeks, even when worn on my even smaller elbows.

TK said they'd replace my pair, sent it back, never got **** back and they never returned my calls. Gave up.

Good thing I didnt place my order yet.

EFS it is.

My EFS sleeves are holding up strong, been nearly a year I think. Heavies, single ply, meet legal in USPA Raw.

Haven't washed them once and they don't stink too bad, lol.

If anyone is looking at them, Mark Bell's new wraps aren't USPA legal yet...

Sounds good. Only thought of TK because I actually tried em on. I'm not intending on competing in sleeves, but may just use em
every now and then during training.

I'd still go EFS, almost the same warmth, and last forever.

Gear porn

EFS Heavy knee sleeves, Metal deadlift socks (better than normal socks that I bleed through maybe?) and Blue Heat ordered.

Lookin into new wraps though. my Blue Arrows are beginning to fray bigtime. RPS has zero wrap restrictions.

Used it a couple of times before and I licked it. It says to consult a veterinarian if there's any problems lol Cheaper than being gay.

Granted its not competition legal, but this will allow me to keep my excorcist arch and still maintain leg drive. Hopefully the competition bench pad will be soft like my APA meet and I don't have to worry about back sliding.

I'll post up how well it works tonight

That's pretty cool. At the very least it can get you used to the feel of not sliding. I slide some too, particularly as the reps go on.

General consensus on metal deadlift socks?

From what I hear, you're paying for the name. They're sweet as **** though. Those are on my shopping list as well.

Black...my son lifts with them and the placebo value alone is worth it. Lol
