SDX Testing

I would imagine that in the future, agreements with the capping companies will come with some sort of escrow arrangement where final payment isn't cleared until the end product passes testing. Any capping company not willing to enter into such an agreement should be avoided.

I would agree.

Just curious... Will refunds just be sent out or will we get a reply email? Just curious since i haven't recieved any reply back yet.

FWIW, I haven't heard anything since the initial contact re: results either.

Also, I've never been a rep whore, but I really thought some of you would bump me up for sending my own bottle in for testing (for which I have yet to be compensated for).

I got an email from Bioscience they said the orders placed from nutraplanet will receive store credit, and nutraplanet will add 5%

Bump here. The company should of done this first before selling it. Props to you that this did not go on for longer.

Wait a minute!!! I personally sent you an email asking for your address so we could compensate you above and beyond anyone else for offering up your bottle and you emailed me back with your address. I furthermore emailed you a copy of the test results. Did you check your junk mail folder? Perhaps it got snagged...

By the way the check is in the mail

Excuse me biggunther...no offense, but I would suggest reading a thread completely through before posting accusations. The raws were tested, it came back fine. It was manufactured once and it tested fine, the remaining raws were manufactured a second time from a back up manufacturer and therein lies the problem. Yes, it was a mistake on our end and we will not deny that. One would think that having it tested multiple times would suffice, but what we have learned is always double check to be sure. We made a mistake, we are owning up to this mistake, and we are rectifying the mistake (above and beyond what others would do). This is not a rare occurrence from what I have learned. I just found out that another supplement company underwent the same issues and took the high road and now their reputation is top notch. You can even see their products in large retail chains. I mean no disrespect here, I just want to clarify because your past couple posts seem to have an underlying negative connotation.

What I am saying is this is the third company on this site to have this problem. No disrespect, but as a online company we get emails about this even when we don't carry these products like it is our fault. Quite annoying. No disrepect. I will leave this thread alone. Have a good one and best of luck to you.

It seems that some shady contract manufacturers are running a bait and switch scam on companies. When you really consider it, what safety measures are there? It's not like you can really go to the "law" and say hey, this company ripped me off on PH's. I think what yeahright proposed is an engenius idea. Perhaps even having them sign a written contract stating that once the items are completed, a lab test will be performed and if it fails, the manufacturer will reimburse the total costs (or something to that effect) although when dealing with gray area products, it's not like a contract will really hold up in a court of law...but since we have left the PH industry it's really a moot issue.

I completely understand your point. The best of luck to you with your future products.

That is really not fair to the retailers. It seems that customers quickly associate a problem with the original place of purchase rather than the origin of the issue. That is why we are asking for all emails to be directed to us rather than harrassing the retailers. You guys work hard enough, you don't need these sorts of things to slow you down.

The problem arises when a supplement company does nothing to correct a problem, leaving the responsibility to the retailer and in the end making them both look bad.

Thanks for your understanding and best of luck to you as well

LOL, speaking of e-businesses. You guys need to give your webmaster a kick. Your website still lists Alpha Drive as "coming soon."

Are you Wesley, National Sales Manager?

That's who I've been communicating with, and I sent my address on August 31st. Got the email in front of me.

Last I heard from you was Sept. 4. I emailed you on the 7th with no response.

That's me! The email I sent you on the 4th had the verbal on the test results as well as an attachment with the actual analysis. Sorry for not getting back to you on your last email (busy handling the slew of emails pouring in). In response to your question regarding the ADED, I would say yes it would be comparable to ATD.

Just wanted to make sure you've been receiving my emails because your previous post made it sound like the last correspondence we had was the intial email indicating you sent the bottle. I would hate for you to think we were ignoring you.

Up until yesterday I was unaware of this issue. I was a little confused as to why my SDX just didnt do what I remembered it should! Anyways, I sent my email for the 2 bottles I bought. Now Its off on a search to find someplace that stills sells this product!! :study:
:jaw:

Bump for info here.

4 days since any response, update, or mail.

"By the way the check is in the mail"

Ummm...?

I'll be the first to bump you if this gets resolved...just wondering whats going on.

UPDATE:
Just got a check from Bioscience. They really are stand up guys! They paid to have my bottle tested, posted the honest results, and have come thourhg as they said they would weith a refund. You can't ask for more than that!

I'm sad to see this event happen to such a good company, but their response and actions will definitely only help them uin th efuture. Kudos to stand up people!!

Who has all gotten their refund so far? I ordered from Nutra and have yet to hear anything other then the first e-mail stating they were working on coming up with a system to credit our accounts......

I havn't used the credit yet, but Nutra did apply it to my account.
I got my account credited. The only way it shows up is if you go all the way through the ordering process to the payment method and they have developed "Nutraplanet bucks" you can apply all some or none, remaining balance can be used by whatever payment method you normally would. I had been wondering the same thing and just stumbled across this.

can i just send my de-bunk bottle straight to you? its still got like 80 caps left. i forgot who i bought it from. some guy at my gym.

identifying the issue bottles

I have purchased my 1st revenge sdx and then was advised of this current issue.

the supplier was unsure but said was likely I have the issue product. they are refunding.

I had opened before knew of the issue and cannot confirm if was a clear seal but I believe is possible.

is there any other way to identify if my product is incorrect, batch number on bottle etc.

or do we have any pics of the 2 seals to see if jogs my memory.

???

Hello,

I need to bump this thread up. Has the problem lot #s been posted somewhere?

I bought a couple of bottles from Supplementkings a couple of months ago, and I have not used the product.

The bottles are indeed sealed with the white seals.

Can I get confirmation on how to verify that this is the bad batch, and if it is, do I go through you guys or through the retailer?

Thanks,
R

go via retailer as i did.

as you can see its been several months and no one advised any other way to distinguish other than the label. i still have my product and will test at sometime as it didnt cost me in the end.
